The portion size of that salad looks absolutely tiny!

Tale of two halves

Sat towards the back of CE on yesterday's BA1403 MAN-LHR, same menu as mountainmike but I was left with a Vegitarian Poke Bowl. Possibly the worst CE meal I have ever had! Went back mostly uneaten. The mousse had also "melted" and was just a dish of slop.

Followed by an excellent curry on BA786 up to ARN. Possibly the best CE meal I've ever had (maybe a tie with the 'crispy' pork from earlier this year) delivered by an excellent crew of 2 who were very attentive and helpful throughout the flight. Golden Tickets issued.

I was disappointed last time I had it - seemed very bland to me. But then I saw Puccis top tip about adding Worcestershire Sauce, so Ill definitely do that next time

Flew in from Alicante today in CE. Worst crew I've had for a long time.

Senior crew member had a face like she was chewing a wasp most of the flight. Assume she went to the Grinch Charm School. Sets the tone when they don't greet or smile on boarding.

Junior crew member dropped ice cubes down my companion's seat and pulled the trolley back with such force that a large bottle of water thundered off the trolley.

Crew insisted on pouring and opening drinks - then proceeds to spill tonic water all over table.

Toilet was in a dreadful state and crew refused to do anything about it.

Call bell went unanswered. Curtain drawn for latter half of flight

Request for a drink at 45 mins to landing denied.

BA 2656 LGW-ALC Afternoon Tea

This is a non-meal to me as it is really a snack. Two dainty little sandwiches and a small triangle of Quiche Lorraine. One of the sandwiches was Coronation Chicken and the bread was far from fresh. Both of us found the thing indigestible. The scone had seen better days as well. There was also a lump of Ginger Cake which I do not care for. Frankly it was the worst tray I have had put in front of me in quite a while. The crew were fine but Ive had far better. Drinks were plentiful however.

That all sounds worth a complaint to me. For the attitude, but also one of my biggest annoyances is the curtailing of service if they can't be bothered. Hiding away for half a long CE flight and refusing a drink when there's plenty of time strikes me as exactly that. Had it most recently on a flight back from GLA once when the IFL just decided he'd 'close the bar to complete paperwork' once everyone had meals and a solitary drink, and it feels like they're absolutely taking the mick.

They are taking the proverbial. Its pathetic. Mercifully none of my recent crews have behaved so parsimoniously - indeed with an extended ground hold here on the continent this evening because of the flow reductions at Heathrow I am already on my second gin.

The dreaded Afternoon Tea - I hate it. Got it twice next week so Ill fill up in the lounge beforehand

I wish BA had a Heathrow to Alicante route 😂 Think i will lodge a complaint, but I only wish I had confidence in it making a difference.

I got a delicious voucher for mine, if that sways you! It seems to be utterly random which complaints get them and which don't, but still, possibly worth it.
