Lunch service was prompt on this short flight, although for me being seated in Row 4 of a 5-row Club Europe cabin (due to a late POUG) was quite the novelty.

A bar service with nuts was offered from the trolley, followed almost instantly by lunch trays hand run from the galley (with pre-placed bread). Choices were braised Welsh lamb (described by the crew as a lamb tart), gnocchi or Loch Fyne smoked salmon carpaccio. The former was quite decent and filling, whilst the latter ran out in Row 3. For those wondering, the starter was a fregola salad, and the dessert was chocolate marscarpone trifle. The crew were proactive with drinks top-ups, and biscuits were offered with hot drinks.

5 rows of Club Europe once again on this flight, which was reasonably lightly loaded.

A bar service with nuts was offered from the trolley, although as I was in the washroom at the time service started, the IFL served me from the galley. Two bottles of wine and two bags of nuts were offered proactively.

Dinner options, hand run from the galley, included pan fried prawns, marscarpone mezzaluna or British roast beef salad. I had the former which was at the bottom end of the Club Europe hot meal spectrum - perhaps because it was more than a tad overcooked. Given the portion size, once all passengers had been served, I asked for the pasta which was more filling but pretty boring. Not a great menu. The starter was spicy sweet potato and corn salad, and the dessert was marinated raspberries. Bread was offered from a basket. Drinks top-ups were very proactive, and biscuits were offered with hot drinks.
