BA677 IST-LHR Band 4 Dep 18:50. The menus were not given out on this flight because they didn't match the meals loaded; I chose the 'pan fried prawns'. The prawns themselves were cooked well and a reasonable size, the rice had a nice buttery flavour, but the meal is let down by a nondescript sauce! Having said that, I would choose this meal again, over a veggie pasta meal or salad. The starter was nice.
On the zinfandel vs malbec debate, I was interested to see my neighbour across the aisle return his zinfandel after a couple of sips! It really should be on the children's menu because it tastes like Ribena!
