What I will say is this. This is an apology for a tea I agree with all of you suggesting the Ploughman’s/Charcuterie plate. I think that when well done an English Afternoon Tea is sublime. However you need properly proportioned sandwiches and not these pathetic little tired little dainty mouthfuls. A fresh warm scone is excellent, but these ghastly drop scones would give Mary Berry heart seizure. As I have already said, with better ingredients and product the meal would be sought after rather than
