As ever, “Gatwick following soon after”

Different source, I guess, but still irritating that BA treats LGW as 2nd Class.

After all those years of beans on toast in the lounge I already consider myself blessed these days!

Still trying to get my head around why MAD is band 3 but VIE has been relegated to band 2, even though it's further away from LHR.

Same feeling... Clearly ALEX thinks his own route is more important... OS is better nevertheless

Crew on the 421 from LEI (MF) to LHR seemed oblivious to the changes last night. They thought the catering changes started in October...

I am flying LGW-ACE on Saturday. I suppose it's too much to hope for that the changes arrive at Gatwick before that (or even for the return on 22nd)?

You should’ve realised by now that the bands are not strictly just distance based.

Or it is related to the importance of MAD as an IAG hub where many BA pax connect onwards to IB's Latin American network.

Please please stop breakfast at 08:00. Or at least offer brunch after 08:00am on Bands 3 & 4 flights.

does anyone know if there is actually going to be any visible difference in product between band one and two?
Or is this simply an internal banding to trigger extra crew on high club load flights?

There is a post over on Turning Left For Less with sample menu offerings:
Club Europe: What’s on the menu? – what meals you will get when & on what routes

Wasn't sure whether this would be relevant to post in the "official" thread so posted it here. If mods deem it appropriate in the other thread, I'm happy to move it.
