BA1396 LHR-MAN
A later flight than in the post above, I got served a mighty fine afternoon tea which brought back fond memories of my only ever BA First experience.
Sadly the experience came to a premature end as the seatbelt sign switched on after 15 minutes at most (being a lowly Blue I was in 7A, the last row of CE so had lost valuable minutes to scoff my fruit scone). As we entered descent I was offered the option to continue with my Castelnau from a plastic cup which I shamefully accepted.
Still, I had spent about 6 hours in the T5B GC lounge before boarding so probably got my Avios' worth. All in all, not an unpleasant way to roll into MAN if one is not in a hurry.
