No menus, as expected on this band 2. This was sold by the IFM (quite accurately) as pork medallions with mash and peppercorn sauce. Other options were a ricotta and spinach pasta and, I think, a prawn salad.
Overall score of pleasant and perfectly acceptable. Pork a bit overcooked, though that’s par for the course with industrial catering. It was a sweetcorn mash on the left, and the peppercorn sauce had bacon bits. Veg was some green beans and peas. A little surprised to get a side salad on a band 2, though there was little enough of it. Diced beetroot, apple and some lettuce. Utterly inoffensive and unmemorable. Dessert was the mango and panna cotta pot, v nice.
7 rows of CE with 2 cabin crew. Service quick off the mark with the bar cart and then food by hand following soon after. Good crew, subtle status welcome and checking back after initial service.
