It was scheduled as a 9:50am departure so the meal was breakfast, despite it being almost lunchtime at the destination and that time of day being busy at the runway so we were delayed by about 20 mins… maybe whoever schedules this flight will move it by 10 mins one day so the food is a little more time-appropriate considering the meal is served at about 11:30 anyway on this route because there’s a drinks and nuts run before the food is ready, anyway rant over and back to the review… after having eaten before the flight, I wasn’t very hungry so opted for the charcuterie plate, with the infamous 1/16th of a hard boiled egg, which when combined with the homemade granola, small fruit pot, an olive bread roll and a pain au chocolat for dessert was a surprisingly substantial meal.

The quality of the meats and cheeses was good, even the pea shoots added something, bringing a bit of freshness to an otherwise quite fat-heavy plate. I’d certainly have it again if I wasn’t in the mood for the full British breakfast or the omelette.
