Reading through the guides and something doesnt seem to tally - NCL efc Band 1 and Band 1 lunch/dinner state they’re same as express, a salad choice, yet in reality hot meals are provided? |

This morning’s breakfast coming down from Glasgow. The eggs were very good.

30 flights in and out of NCL last year and I would have sworn there were hot meals, but no way am I going to argue with you, if anyone knows for sure it’d be yourself :D
Happy new year and many safe travels. |

Jan 2, 2024 - MAD-LHR (Operated by Finnair). Christmas Turkey still available - 2nd time having this; turkey wasn't dry and it hit the spot. Cheese, baby corn salad thingy were good, and that gingerbread crumble mousse reliably stellar!
Finnair crew were delightfully friendly but were uncertain at times - didn't know if they had vodka, no menus, and the other dish was just "pasta". When I asked for more info she said "marscapone", showed it to me (it was ravioli in a cheese sauce, or the mascapone was in the ravioli?), and she said "I don't know what it is!". The drinks runs and checks for refills etc were very good. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...aac7c48b2.jpeg Turkey Lunch |

I never understood how a route can manage hot breakfasts but then not hot meals throughout the day.
I suspect there is a perfectly sensible operational reason. Maybe crews have more prep time from UK outstations for the first flight of the day? |

Perhaps "Ask the staffer" :)
