The Rugby is on downstairs and I have peace.

Being a 19.35 departure we were offered dinner. First came drinks which were served,promptly and the Castelnau was icy cold. Yum! To catch up. The tonics and mixers were all Fever Tree. Bathtub Aviation Moonshine which calls itself Gin was nestling in the bar as well as the Tanqueray which H. I. had.

This was Band 2 dinner There was a choice of Gnocchi or Gratin Tart of Lamb. The puffed orange was I think Sweet Potato (ugh) or Swede. Once that was scraped off it was very tasty and very filling. Club was not full and the crew were fizzing. They clearly enjoyed what they did and with whom they did it. Full marks. The starter was quite agreable
