LHR-JTR this afternoon

Possibly the oddest service for me ever. Where to begin;:

No drinks run, the cabin crew waited for the breakfasts to heat before starting a dual drinks and food run, and instead spent the intervening time gossiping in the galley

When service started I chose the charcuterie. The tray was delivered without a glass and with the plastic lids still on the fruit salad and yoghurt. Now comes the most bizarre part. I asked for a champagne and it had already been pre-poured and they had a tray full of poured champagne glasses pre-prepared in the cart!!!

A minimum effort crew making a mockery of any sort of service standards
