SAW-LHR
Pasta
I know the menu says something fancy for the title, but this was cheesy pasta. It may have been the truffle that gave it some depth of flavour. If you look carefully you will see the sauce, which was pleasant surprise as when I pulled off the cover I was thought it was going to be a dry meal! It was actually very tasty and I'd have it again. The pasta wasn't dry at all.
They must have run out of ingredients when they made my starter. There were a few chick peas in it. A spittle of dressing. A good choice of words when they said "heritage carrot" as there was just the one.
There were 14 rows of club. We were in row 11 and they were serving from the trolley from the rear and hand delivering from the front. Same thing happened on the outbound from LHR to IST.
Another excellent and engaging crew. They came by before landing with bottles of water and also a snack basket. Maybe I've not paid attention for a while but since when was that a thing? My comparable length CE flights from ATH (some time ago) and EFL (last summer) didn't feature this post meal treat. Not complaining of course!
