Jain meal – Band 2

Starter –Hummus. Tasty with a nice medley of tomato & cucumber (4/5). It was served with a special wholemeal roll and spread which I ate. Main – Mexican style 3 bean with rice. Nice and hot (not spicey). Like my previous flight out it was boring with the high carb ratio. However as you can see the presentation was poor, but the rice which was not overcooked this time. The plate could have been wiped (3/5). Pudding – a weird berry compote of sports containing I think bits of pineapple on plain yogurt, weird but refreshing (3/5). Service was top notch served by a well experienced IFM who at all times addressed me by name even though I don’t hold any major status. She also went through the cabin and was servicing throughout with top ups and ad-hoc requests. Overall whilst the food was not great it was a far better improvement offering than my outbound flight as well as the top 5 star service given by the IFM (4/5).
