LHR,-PRG on BA0856 today. It's afternoon tea, does what it says on the tin. Substanial scone was the highlight.

Another decent crew working hard throughout the flight and engaging with everyone in the cabin. The Gin flowed throughout

Pushed pack early for T3 and arrived in PRG 15 minutes early.

Are BA phasing out the single use plastics used for CE desserts? I note that @KARFA 's Black Forest came in a reusable dish, whilst the one I had yesterday was still in the plastic dish!

Sorry as a bit late posting, but was enjoying our holiday
BA0414 Heathrow to Tenerife Sourh, fab crew who never stopped all flight, said they like it busy as the flight goes fast.
12 full rows in CE

Fairly standard menu
I’d ummed and ahhed about going for AVML or Hindhu meal, turns out it would have been the same for both - meal served with foil on as I was served first and the crew member asked what I preferred, I assume thinking I might want to wait for my husband to be served

Very tasty and much more like lunch

hubby had the standard English breakfast

no formal snack basket but the crew were around the cabin many times and encouraged use if the call bell, we just asked fir drinks when they were through the cabin in when heading to the toilets - great crew and offering to try and put together plates where they could for a young child and a couple on their 4th breakfast after connecting from Scotland

Now on La Gomera and passed a restaurant called Japes, shall get a picture on the way to the airport tomorrow, maybe even do a trip report in Binter Airlines

Ba2522 lgw-lhr gfml

Lunchtime flight to Jersey, barely time for lunch and a coffee before our descent (landing nearly 25 mins ahead of schedule on a 1hr 5 min flight!), but heres my GFML (Gluten Free) meal. Salmon with cucumber and fennel salad with some spicy avocado on the side. The avocado tasted better than it looked!

On longer flights that have both a starter and cheese, the desserts come in a plastic pot presumably due to limited space on the tray. On shorter flights without cheese the dessert is usually but not always in a white reusable dish. This is to and from Heathrow. The Gatwick desserts are always in little disposable pots.

My own flight was SAW-LHR, so that explains it. Thank you.

IST to LHR 15/11

Menu IST - LHR

Tastes better than it looks. Chicken a bit dry. Big CE cabin. Good service front to back. Plenty of drinks. This isnt a business class product. Even my low expectations were not met. But food was ok.

i think its using fatty poor quality bacon which then renders into the bottom of the roll. As such its a greasy salty sludge fest.

IST - LHR is one route in Europe where you can get a business class product which may be closer to your expectations - it's on TK. However, the price will reflect this.

Ba1339 jer-lhr gfml

Gluten Free GFML breakfast on the early flight from Jersey to Heathrow. Hot chicken and tomato roll, which is kind of ironic to serve me instead of bacon at 7am considering brunchgate!

Sealink, DaveS and WiSK like this.

Lunch down from Glasgow. This is the flight which is done after the inbound from LGW, hence the newrest catering.

A selection of meals from some LHR-OTP-LHR flights this weeks. I really enjoyed the early Christmas dinner esque meal.
