Just to point out that the reason for the pot of honey is that during the days from Rosh Hashana, the Jewish new year and after Sukkot, it is customary to dip ones bread in honey so that one should have a sweet new year.

The catering on tonights BA1338 to NCL.

I've submitted a claim via ba.com as the IFL said he was unable to do so on our behalf.
Drinks were a single plastic cup of water.

In Club? Was a reason why no catering given?

The catering truck was delayed whilst servicing another aircraft, so the decision was made to leave without it for an on-time departure.

Welcome to a normal flight "up the back"
Was there no BOB either ?
Did the flight actually leave on time ?

Down the back got a cup of water and a bag of pretzels, that was it.
I just checked, we left on time and arrived 5 minutes early.

At least it was on time !!

I bet a few in Economy had activated "Bring on Board" from the Lounge as they normally receive the pittance you were exposed to tonight.

BA1423 BHD to LHR. 9.35am departure.

Options were cold meat plate, English breakfast or omelette. Cold meat plate was nice, particularly the semi dried tomato.

Wife had the AVML which was a chickpea curry, spinach and Indian scrambled eggs. It was delicious.

Crew weren't proactive with drink top ups but did offer my wife a 2nd glass of champagne. Don't think anyone else was on the booze though.

Though I am sure the cold meat plate was nice, that looks like a starter size at any halfway decent restauraunt. IIRC pre-Covid, or should I say pre-Cruz, a meal on BA looked more like a main than a starter!

BA816 to Copenhagen today... Drinks first (rows 1 and 3 followed by 2 and 4). Food options were beef cheek, "vegetarian pasta" or "antipasti salad"... went for the beef cheek which was actually quite good, though served with the foil still on (complete with hole), and the butter, hidden behind the plate, had turned to liquid... the beetroot salad was OK, but the desert was as good as ever. There is a chocolate button there too!

I've submitted a claim via ba.com as the IFL said he was unable to do so on our behalf.
Drinks were a single plastic cup of water.
I got a response to my Customer Relations case in less than 24 hours regarding this, BA have sent me a 150 voucher as an apology.

I have a breakfast flight departing Rome next month.

If I may ask, for those who order the Kosher meal for non-religious reasons, do you order it for the cinnamon roll?

The egg based kosher meals look good, but it seems there is no guarantee of the main course, nor the enhanced pastries.
