Most of these look like really bad economy meals from some 20 or so years ago. I mean, I have nothing at all against bangers and mash, but the last series of posts just look plain bad. In fact, looking at this thread, nothing would induce me to book BA business for the food.

Name used throughout: 3 out of 3 BA on this trip...
Didn't mind the main plate, the carrot cake however was dense and reminded me of some forgotten brand of disinfectant ...

At the moment, you should be glad to be able to get your hands on any kind of disinfectant.

LGW-AMS Lunch
Cropwell Bishops Stilton and lentils on a bed of Crème fraîche. Flaked trout side.
AMS-LGW Dinner
Mezze platter with prawn cocktail side. The tabbouleh on the right was very tasty. Apologies for the poor quality photograph
Overall, both highly rated.

I'd be happy to post a few of my recent dishes though, but maybe an OMNI thread rather than a BAEC members' masterchef?

You are correct, nicking it is. Looking forward to the creations as it looks like we're all about to have some extra at-home time.
I'm willing to pay good money for any copies of the "chef's chat" sheets. Not that i'm competitive or anything - but I WILL destroy you alllll!!!!!!
( apart from whoever it was that came up with the "how to cook the perfect steak on a BA plane" thread and instructions. His name embarrassingly escapes me at present but clearly he works on a different level to the rest of us mere mortals)

Should probably edit that image so as not to name an employee especially as it was intended for internal dissemination only

yeah i got an email first cancelling a flight to DUB on april 8 (was waiting for them to cancel so i could get the refund) but of course 30mins later got the email about my service on board. the relevant portion on food from that email about catering in CE:
We know you will understand in the circumstances why it is necessary to avoid food preparation on board our aircraft. This means that food or drinks will not be available to purchase onboard your flight, but we will be offering complimentary light refreshments and hot drinks.
If you have any special dietary requirements or allergies, unfortunately these will not be provided for.
You are very welcome to eat any food you might have brought with you that does not require heating or chilling and we will continue to assist parents who need to heat milk for their children.
If you are preparing for your flight and would like to bring food onboard it’s important for you to be aware that many restaurants and shops at the airport may be closed, so we suggest you purchase any food before you reach the airport.
