Flew back from our 7 day holiday in Funchal and waited with anticipation to see this new CE Catering.

Quite frankly i was disappointed. If it’s Wednesday...it must be Massaman beef curry day. That was also on the outbound flight last week and good job I didn’t take it! There was no ‘signature cold plate’ of Caesar salad. They were not loaded nor was it advertised on outbound as a menu card was left in my seat pocket.

I took the curry - it was ok. Last week’s smoked salmon plate was more substantial as was dessert and cheese.

The new set-up was ok but nowhere near as good.
