Club Europe Catering Guide - September 2018 onwards
This thread outlines the new arrangements for Club Europe catering introduced on Wednesday 12 September 2018 based on 5 bands (Express, and Bands 1-4). The main information piece - in terms of timings and the distance zones for the meals can be found in post 1. The following cross references the photos below against the matrix of options. In addition to the photos, some FTers have written extensively on their experiences so there is more to this thread than the pictures. Also note that the menus for LGW routes rotate monthly, whereas LHR routes rotate bi-weekly

The previous shorthaul catering guide for Sunday 26 March 2017 to Tuesday 11 September 2018 is now locked, but is to be found here.
Numbers relate to the post number. Vegetarian means the alternative option provided as standard rather than the special meals. The pre-ordered special meals are AVML (Asia-vegetarian), CHML(children meal), DBML (diabetic meal), GFML (gluten free), HNML (Hindu non-vegetarian meal), KSML (Kosher meal), LCML (low calorie meal), LFML (low fat meal), NLML (low-lactose meal), LSML (low salt meal), MOML (Muslim meal), VGML (vegan meal), and VLML (lacto-ovo vegetarian).
There are differences between the offering in/out of LHR, LGW, and BA CityFlyer routes operated from LCY, STN, BRS, BHX, MAN, EDI, and DUB. For BA CityFlyer flights please refer to this guide created by eJetter BA CityFlyer catering guide

Addressed by name and offered drink to accompany meal at the time of ordering G&T so took the champagne which was poured from the bottle. Then had green tea afterwards. And a glass of water about 30 mins before landing.
Advised my companion that the hot smoked salmon referred to how the salmon was smoked rather than it being a hot meal. I found it tasty and was glad to be in row 2 of CE as the passenger behind me who also requested same meal was advised they'd run out! I think they chose the beef instead. Cabin had 5 rows of CE, all seats occupied.
It was also nice to see they've finally replaced the rock hard Peter's Yard crackers.

(mustard, lemon and vinegar does too as I am a pure and innocent lamb in Nicoise salad world! 
) In fairness, much of the problem was created by a Provencal chef (Provencal people have always resented the people of Nice for not being Provencal themselves. I'll keep that story for another time when you are all bored!) and I won't repeat my pedantic diatribe on Nicoise salad (I think in the CCR menus thread, but let us just say it is a sensitive topic in the orbitmic world! That said once again, at least your salads sounds perfectly delicious while the industrially cut chicken thing above looks rather uninspiring in addition to feeling exceedingly un-nicois! Plus the symbol of Nice is an eagle, not a chicken!

Well orbitmic im not sure if you were heard, but I was offered a "chicken salad" this evening on BSL-LHR (BA749) , see below. No mention of Nice. Maybe the Comité de Défense de la Salade Niçoise has finally got to them

We were given the choice of a tomato and cheese quiche or a “continental plate”, described as meat and cheese.
I selected the quiche. Besides the tomato and mozzarella quiche, there was what tasted like a tomato chutney on the side with more cheese in the middle. In general, I’m not a big fan of the “brunch” concept. But, all told, this meal was actually quite good.

I imagine that a positive outcome for all would be to organise the next meeting of the ba customer experience team in Nice in the spring where they will discover how lovely the real thing is without any rice/potatoes/beans/lettuce/chicken/salmon/tofu and ideally with some of the local favourites such as (all raw) baby artichokes, tiny broad beans, radishes and salad peppers (as opposed to normal Spanish peppers) and how much difference good tomatoes (rather than greenhouse red floury water) make...

Enjoyed a new (to me) variation on the cold meat platter served on the 10:10 GLA-LGW this morning - this one had decent jamon, smoked salmon, balsamic pickled onion and mozzarela balls along with some antipasti style vegetables. Came with fruit salad and granola. Tastier and more substantial than the GLA-LHR equivalent. Perhaps they need to change the name given it had salmon!

I’m definitely not important enough but I can imagine mass rebellions from the whole club cabin on the lunch and dinner flights from NCE duly reported by cabin crew in a “they are often unpleasant but we’d never seen them that furious before!” type of way! I imagine that a positive outcome for all would be to organise the next meeting of the ba customer experience team in Nice in the spring where they will discover how lovely the real thing is without any rice/potatoes/beans/lettuce/chicken/salmon/tofu and ideally with some of the local favourites such as (all raw) baby artichokes, tiny broad beans, radishes and salad peppers (as opposed to normal Spanish peppers) and how much difference good tomatoes (rather than greenhouse red floury water) make...

LGW-AMS BA 2760 today. No menu. Orders taken for salmon or quinoa. The hot-smoked salmon served very cold making it quite hard and the usual rush to eat and get cleared away before landing.
Perfectly adequate

I had the same dish last night although my piece of Salmon was even bigger. One of the most substantial CE salads I have had on a domestic shorthaul (LGW-GLA).
