Had the same tea offering coming back from MLH yesterday. I liked the apple... thing (you can tell they didn't have menus, can't you?), though my favourite is always the Battenberg cake.

The brioche with creamy cheese being all goat-y made me jump, though! Wasn't expecting it to be that pungent

BA 412 Today 0730 LHR-AGP. Excellent crew full plane and maybe 12 rows of CE.

Very Good service and food. I wasn’t that hungry having shared a bite or two with the Mice in Galleries Club South ,so had the prosciutto with a pastry on the side.

The OH had the FE which looked great and got a big thumbs up.

The entire LHR experience was great bag drop to lounge couldn’t be done much quicker.
Departure Gate A10 and even the bus was efficient.

Had a very good post breakfast Bloody Mary which came made but without the remainder of the minature. Which was fine with me but if it had been a later flight I would have like to top it up myself.

Jain meal – Band 2

Starter –Hummus. Tasty with a nice medley of tomato & cucumber (4/5). It was served with a special wholemeal roll and spread which I ate. Main – Mexican style 3 bean with rice. Nice and hot (not spicey). Like my previous flight out it was boring with the high carb ratio. However as you can see the presentation was poor, but the rice which was not overcooked this time. The plate could have been wiped (3/5). Pudding – a weird berry compote of sports containing I think bits of pineapple on plain yogurt, weird but refreshing (3/5). Service was top notch served by a well experienced IFM who at all times addressed me by name even though I don’t hold any major status. She also went through the cabin and was servicing throughout with top ups and ad-hoc requests. Overall whilst the food was not great it was a far better improvement offering than my outbound flight as well as the top 5 star service given by the IFM (4/5).

BA 641 ATH-LHR

Excellent service in a busy CE cabin. Plenty of drinks runs, 2 tea runs and the snack basket came out twice too. Food was all tasty and a very enjoyable flight all round.

BA706 LHR-VIE Yesterday.
Starter was either quinoa or bulgur (I can never tell the difference) on some kind of a mint chutney which was very delicious.
Main was a choice of Welsh lamb, gnocchi arrabiata or smoked salmon salad. Surprisingly everyone in the cabin got their first choice. I went with gnocchi which were really more pomodoro than arrabiata (there was no spice to them) but reasonably good.
Dessert was a chocolate mousse with raspberry coulis and strawberry foam. Just like the starter, very good.

Must admit I'm not a huge fan of that starter (feel like the sauce doesn't quite go with the rest of the dish) but the gnocchi look good. Must try that once as I've had the Welsh lamb quite a few times now and whilst great, it does get a bit same-y after a while.

LHR-NCE last week. Lamb dish. Not a big fan of what tasted like sweet potato mash on top. I wasn't very hungry, so didn't finish it.

I wish the descriptions were a bit more detailed than lamb or chicken. How about a menu???

Yeah I scrape that off and just eat the lamb and broc which is pleasant enough.

Krk-lhr ba873 20/3/24

Flew back from Krakow this morning on the earliest running BA flight I think I've ever taken. Inbound landed 20 minutes early, the aircraft was half boarded at T-45 (when I arrived at passport control and saw a mostly empty gate area). I made it on the second bus to the aircraft but had no issues with overhead space in 1A.

We pushed back 10min early and landed at 12:01 (schedule 12:40), were on stand at 12:08 -- and we were about the closest stand to immigration I've ever had in T3 -- all in all a one of my better Heathrow arrival experiences!

I went for the KSML this time as I've never before.
Sweet mother of Kosher baby Jesus was that a lot of food (and I'm known to be partial to a substantial meal!)

It was introduced as a confit duck leg and the dish was bursting with noodles, veg and sauce (and a substantial hunk of duck). It was about 5cm tall and felt like about 3x what you normally get with even the most substantial Club Europe meals. After a few days in Poland where I think seasoning tends to be dialled up to the max, it was fairly plainly flavoured but not in a bad way.

The accompaniments were I think a fennel and maybe celeriac salad/remoulade type thing with an olive on top (top right) which was alright; a pot of hummus which was really nice, as well as challah and some crackers underneath that. The pudding was some kind of apple and rhubarb stewed fruit underneath a layer of something like whipped cream (I assume it wasn't cream as there was no other dairy on the tray) with a fine crumb on top. The hummus, challah and the pudding were the highlights but I couldn't believe getting served a whole confit duck leg (I appreciate KSML is covered in some detail in this forum and very popular for being generous!)

The standard menu for the cabin was (I believe) the same as in VSLover's recent post: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/36087987-post554.html (I heard "hot prawns", "Mezzaluna pasta" or "beef carpaccio" all mentioned). No menus were handed out and the service was all hand-run.

The crew were proactive on the first half of the flight (I think due to hand running - club was maybe 50% full) then tended to stick to the galley which was fine by me.

Hi, has anyone ordered a children's meal recently? (I've looked through on here but can't find anything on it - apologies if missed it)

Before covid there use to be some great kids meals and my son loved them, then they moved to the veggie option.

Last flew Oct 2023 on a band 3 and was still the same. About to fly Band 4 this weekend and just wondered if anyone has experience in it being changed this year?

Thanks
