thank you for the info. They can indeed do it half/half. But this lounge can get so crowded sometime, that even if they close only half of it, they will need to find a temporary place for the other half. Or for the afternoon services, they could transfer some flights to the M concourse (extending its operation hours).

SVO - Moscow Sheremetyevo - Term E
Name of the lounge: SVO Term E - Space lounge
Location : after immigration and security, go upstairs at the gate level. Follow the signs for Galaxy/Space lounge. Those 2 lounges are adjacent, but AF/KL use the Space lounge on the right.
It's been several years since I have been in Moscow and it was the 1st time since AF moved to this terminal & lounge. So of course, the experience is a huge improvement compared to the absolute crap terminal and lounge they were using before (was it F ?). But overall, not the best lounge in the world, but acceptable. Also, a hint for SVO travelers, AF sends you electronic BP in the app or by e-mail, but they are systematically refused and you absolutely need a paper BP so that they can stamp it everywhere every 5 minutes
Opening Hours : unknown, but likely all day knowing the number of airlines using it
Entry requirements : FB Gold/Plat. Physical card required. They make a copy of card + paper BP.
Food offer : I was there early morning, so breakfast time : some bad looking sausages as the sole warm option. Muffins, cold cuts and sliced cheese (not very good looking), muffins, cakes, fruits
Drinks offer : there is an attended bar (closed when I was there) which seems to have a large choice of wines and liquors. Otherwise the classical juices, soft drinks, coffee, etc.
Services
Wifi: yes (airport wifi, no lounge network)
Showers: unknown
Toilets: yes
Quiet zone: no but the lounge was quiet
Loungers/sleep area: no, but some sofa you can lay down on
Business area: no
Spa: no
TV area: yes
Passengers are called: yes
Information screen: yes
Newspapers: yes
Other information
Number of seats: about 100
Level of noise: low
Design: see pictures
View: yes

CDG 2E-L concourse lounge closed for renovation
CDG 2E - L concourse lounge is closed for renovation since 20/04 and until 15 JAN 2018. We can guess it is a real renovation !!
This time, no temporary lounge, but customers flying from L will be able to use K and M lounges, with the following rules announced by AF:
- if you are on one of the flights departing 2E but with a check-in in 2F, you go to M lounge and there is a special airside shuttle at gates M21/M23 to bring you to L.
- if you check-in in 2E, you go to K lounge, and there is a special airside shuttle at gates K25/K26 to bring you to L.
Impacted customers will receive an e-mail 24hrs before their flight informing them of L lounge being closed.
AF has also released a leaflet with a map and a list of flights corresponding to the 2 categories described above. But it is rather confusing and incomplete, as for the 2nd category, they list only flights departing in the last bank (23:00- 23:30). And no partners flights are listed (DL, VN, CZ, MU, etc).
One question that will come quickly is "do we have to follow those rules if we leave from L, i.e. can we go to M lounge even if we are supposed to go to the K one?" I don't know for sure, but I would tend to say yes, as this "if your check-in-in is in 2F rule" makes no sense for connecting pax.
It is of course a good news that they are renovating this lounge, but I am worrying for the K and M lounge experience, knowing how crowded the 3 lounges can be every day, especially in the morning and until 2 pm. I think I will appreciate my "Ultimate corner"...
Please report experiences here for accessing one or the other lounge. Good luck

Good luck

PEK : New Skyteam lounge
A new Skyteam lounge has been inaugurated in PEK Terminal 2 on April 7, 2017.
All Skyteam airlines serving PEK operates from T2, except AZ and CI. I don't know if those carriers will move to T2 or not. For a strange reason, the AF announcement says that GA, SU and VN will not use this lounge, despite they operate from T2. . See this on the positive side, it means less people in the Skyteam lounge . But to add to the confusion, Skyteam website indicates that GA is using the lounge...
It looks nice as per the pictures you can see on Skyteam website (sorry, I can't link to English language. My computer always brings me to the French pages).

New contract lounge in ORY W hall 1
Our friend Olivedel has kindly indicated me that a new contract lounge is now available for AF/A5 pax in Orly West hall 1. It is a 289 m2 lounge located at the lower level of hall 1 (so close to the bus gates of hall 1). It is called Premium Traveller. This lounge exists since last november, but the agreement with AF/A5 is new. This lounge is also accessible to IB/Vueling/TP pax and there is a possibility of paid access for any pax for €36.
Thank you to Olivedel for the information.

EDIT 09/2022 : this lounge is not accessible for free when flying on AF-marketed flights leaving from ORY 1 (gates A). Example of AF-marketed flights on Amelia(8R)-operated flights (BVE, RDZ, CFE)
Thank you to Olivedel for the information.

Also i flew out of Hall 4 this evening and on my way to the far away 40G & 40H gates (what used to be the Hall 3 Schengen gates) i noticed that the space that used to be the old AF lounge is being repurposed as a contract lounge under the name of Alyzia Lounge (if im not wrong, Alyzia is the ground service provider for U2?) and has a "opening soon" sign on the door.
I don't know if AF intends to go into an agreement with this lounge or move out their last remaining A5/XK flights out of Hall 4 but this would mean all of Orly Ouest would now have lounges

Please excuse my ignorance as this most likely have been discussed multiple times, but I need to shout it out: the AF J lounge at ORD is probably the worst I have been to so far (even compared to AA's flagship lounges in the US).
Seemed like the lounge was used to park PAX that could not move by themselves (ie. wheeled in by airport staff) and by a holy miracle picked from the blue sky, there was no problem in running up and down to the food counter to then fill their carry on's with the newly picked food. I have absolutely NOTHING against mobility impaired people but I just found it odd to "park" all in the lounge.
Also, a premium lounge (as this is offered by AF in this case as I believe it's shared with other airlines - in fact it looked like it had old AF lounge furnishing) with no "private" toilets is a big minus IMO. The public restrooms were so unbelievably disgusting that I decided not to go before getting on the plane heading back to Europe 2 hours later
This said, the food selection was actually pretty good...

Paris CDG - Terminal 2G Air France lounge
Name of the lounge : Paris CDG 2G Air France lounge
A very nice lounge, long awaited to replace the dump place that they used previously. Congratulations to AF for such a nice achievement ^ T2G is now a place where we can go

Opening Hours : from 1st to last flight (the terminal is all AF + LG)
Entry requirements : FB Gold, Platinum, Club 2000, Skyteam Elite Plus
The Ultimate corner
Food offer : see pictures below. I was outside meal times but was enough to feed me (cold cuts, cheese, salted tarts, cakes, etc). I know that there’s more food options at meal times. Soon (from end may) there will be a kind of bakery inside the lounge with fresh bread, French pastries
