Hello,

Here is an update about the lounge situation in Kinshasa N'Djili international airport (FIH). The Okapi lounge has not been use for a few years as it is in the old terminal that is now only domestic. The modern international airport has two lounges, one for Brussels Airlines and the second for AF (also ET, KQ and TK, I believe).

Name of the lounge: VIP Départ

Location: Turn right in the boarding hall after safety.
Opening Hours: Openfrom check-in until AF flight leaves.

Entry requirements: Business class ticket or Skyteam Elite Plus (guest allowed).

Food offer: Two to three warm dishes with warm appetizers. Cold cuts, and desserts also available.
Drinks offer: soft drinks and hard liquor available throughout the lounge in beverage carts. Wine and hot beverages are available at the bar.

IMHO this quite a decent lounge, much better than BZV or PNR.
Food quality is much better than in most lounges used by AF for UE flights. I strongly recommend the samoussas à la viande.
