Paid access options for AF lounges are displayed after the lounge list.

EUROPE
France
  • CDG : AF lounges in
    • Terminal 2F (Schengen)
    • Terminal 2G (Schengen) : More info here.
    • Terminal 2E (non-Schengen) : one lounge in each concourse (K, L, M gates).Pictures of the renovated L lounge can be found here. La Première lounge is located in 2E-K and is subjected to special rules for access (P pax on AF-operating flights only, or capacity-controlled paid access for J pax flying on an AF-operating flight without P class).
    • Terminal 2C : arrival lounge, located landside at the extreme right of the terminal, after the last check-in counter, just before the corridor leading to 2A. This lounge has specific access rules and there is a specific thread about this lounge. This lounge is definitely closed. No arrival lounge facility is currently available for AF/Skyteam pax ending their journey in CDG (usual lounges are still available for transit pax).
Note that, among Skyteam partners :
- KL, AZ, UX depart from T2F and use AF lounges.
- ME, DL, VN, CZ, MU, RO, AM, KE, KQ depart from T2E and use AF lounges.
- SU and SV depart from T2C, where AF is not present anymore. So those airlines are using the contract lounges available in this terminal.
- OK departs from T2D, where AF is not present anymore. OK is using the contract lounge (SheltAir lounge) available in this terminal. (NO GUESTS ALLOWED FOR AF-TICKETED PAX on OK-SERVICE)
- AR, GA, CI and Xiamen do not serve CDG.

Here to report some shocking news.

The Aspire in Humberside no longer has a free service bar. All the alcohol is now locked behind reception and on demand only.

Probably some legal requirement to fulfil. Not the end of the world, given the lounge is always empty, and the lounge lady kindly took orders at the tables too.

I also noticed posters advertising for paid drinks: prosecco, champagne, and cocktails.

CDG Term 2E (Hall K) AF lounge access?

Wife and I just back from FLR-CDG-DTW return flight. I'm DL Plat, Amex Delta Reserve. Wife is also Amex Delta Reserve. We flew via AMS on our outbound flight and had a lovely experience with no hassles at the KLM lounge. We've flown to Europe maybe 30 times. I know how to smile, be polite and respectful, behave.

Yet on the return, the AF lounge host at CDG Term 2E (Hall K) scanned my ticket (on my phone) and declined access. "Only passengers who have purchased a business-class ticket may use the lounge," he informed me. (Which is surely incorrect, no?) But then he scanned my wife's ticket (on her phone) and welcomed her in. I asked why there was no problem for her (we were both flying Economy on tickets purchased together with the same confirmation code) but there was for me. He curtly asked for my phone again, waved it under the scanner, and announced that we could both enter. No explanation.

Our return flights (FLR-CDG, CDG-DTW) were booked with DL flight numbers but were both on AF metal. I checked us in for the flights via the AF website, per the instructions on the Delta app. My boarding pass says "Sky Priority".

My understanding is that as DL Plat, I have access to the lounge. Am I incorrect? Thanks.

You're correct. Most likely the phone didn't scan properly the first time.

I suspect that Hall K and Hall M lounge dragons end up rejecting enough DL Reserve/Amex Platinum/SkyClub members every morning (since no DL flights use Hall L, that lounge might be different) who don't realize that being able to get into a SkyClub back home has almost no bearing on access in CDG that it's a reasonable assumption that a rejection isn't a misscan.

At the YVR ST lounge.

Since last report (2021), food service has reopen. Hot food bar as well as hot & cold buffet. Food o.k. to tide you over but not the greatest.

Drinks bar but not self serve. Good selection of wines, most from BC. Spanish cava for sparkling.\

DIdn't use the washroom but my wife reports the need patching up and the (apparently) newly-installed sinks could have used a better design selection.

What ended up happening on your trip? Was the lounge open?

Hello- first time flying AF, so a complete newbie questions - there are four of us (one 5 year old) that are flying RDU to CDG to VIE with a long 7 hour layover in CDG. (arrive at 815 AM)
1. Based on historical data, the flight to VIE leaves from 2F - is this correct?
2. We want to purchase lounge access - looks like you can purchase in advance - we have award tickets (economy) - can I just add the access to the tickets online? I can't find a way when looking?
3. Is there any advantage in purchasing ahead of time?
4. Is there a decent chance we get turned away because it is full?
5. The "relaxation area" - Is it actually possible to get some sleep there? (lay down, etc) - obviously I would only take the little one there if she is NOT fussy and is quite.

thanks again all

When it is available, you have the option to buy it online. If it is not offered, try by calling Customer Service

I don't think there is any discount, no.

Keep your expectations low. There are some loungers, but privacy is minimal.

VIE will always leave from 2F. That is, the CDG flight.

There are some discounts for advance purchase of lounge access for FB members.

There is a chance to be turned away, but I don't agree that 2F is "very often" full. Not to capacity, anyway, even if guests might feel it's "full" to the point of "I start being uncomfortable with finding a seat", I doubt it's actual to capacity full very often. Either way if it was, you'd be refunded your entrance fee in full.

sleeping - not really. I would say it's feasible to bring a baby in there to be isolated from general to and fro, but only if you have a baby carrier that she can sleep in (i.e. you put it down next to the lounger and nap)

thanks,
We are FB members, so I will check on the price, if we pay in advance, and then the lounge is full, we would get refunded? if so, it is worth it to save a few $$, if not, will pay the price at the lounge.

I won't have a baby, but a pre-schooler, I saw the loungers, from what I read they are often full, so I shouldn't count on them, but I could lay her down and if she sleeps, one of us waits outside the curtains (assuming seats nearby)

There are plenty of cushy chairs, outside of the loungers, that a kid can sleep in. Thankfully it's not all bar stools.

Its a really solid lounge especially in the morning as its dead quiet (only the 3x weekly AF flight departs during that time).

And for those connecting onwards to Australia on QF in J I’d still recommend the QR lounge which is absolutely phenomenal and is probably the best business lounge I’ve ever been to.
