JFK Term 1 AF lounge - some more pictures

The service was very good by the contract staff in the lounge (I will forgive them for serving a huge amount of champagne in a wine glass ).
They should do that too for BOS, YUL and IAD flights (+ extend to all JFK flights). For IAD, the renovated lounge will have 2 floors, so may be that's what they're going to do ?

Unfortunately, there was no reserved space for Ulti during my visit...
I will develop the Ulti aspect of this new visit in JFK in the Ulti thread.
I am posting a few more pictures and information about the JFK AF lounge. I arrived very early at the lounge (12:45) in connection to DL to AF023, so I had plenty of time
At that time the lounge was very quiet and I believe the very few persons who were there were PP pass holders. For once, after several very bad Ultimate experiences at JFK, I had my first very good Ulti exp here. I was very nicely welcomed by the AF agent at the lounge. He explained me that the mezzanine was opening soon at 1pm. Once open, I was advised to move to the mezzanine where he instructed the team to dress a dinner table for an Ultimate passenger who wanted to have lunch. I was very happy to learn that Ulti pax can benefit from the « night service » at any time, for all flights ^
for most of my meal, I had all the mezzanine fr myself, which was very nice as this lounge gets crowded as you know. While I was having lunch, they were dressing all tables for the rush hours to come and they were reserving several tables for Ultimates. Apparently, this was a Ultimate-heavy day

I also asked the lounge attendant if I could have a slot booked at the La Prairie spa. He said that it is opening at 2:45 and that they hold a few slots for P pax but they become available if the P pax are not arrived yet or wants another time. He came back 30 min later to tell me that the 2:45 slot was OK for me ^
Very nice spa where you can have a 20 min free facial massage. I recommend it if you have time.

About the room reserved for P pax upstairs, at one moment, the door was open so I took this picture of the dining area from the corridor (I didn’t want to enter the room, as obviously there were some P pax inside).

Overall, a great lounge now ^
