Status Changes:
There have been a couple of questions regarding C+ when a member's status drops down after January 31. Typically, seats will hold unless there is an equipment change. If there's a change, the passenger(s) will most likely be seated in regular economy. There are reports of some success contacting @delta to get reseated in C+.

On March 1, 2015, DL rebranded Economy Comfort as "Comfort+."
Delta - Comfort+
dl.com: LINK
Comfort+ FAQ - LINK
Offering:
- C+ is a complimentary upgrade (space available) for DM and PM after booking. GM can access for free at T-72 and FO at T-24. (There is no longer a discount for GM/FO.)
- Sky Priority boarding
- Extra legroom and, on international a/c, extra recline
- Free wine, spirits and regional craft beers, plus premium snacks
Complimentary premium entertainment from Delta Studio™(No longer relevant as of July 1st; Entertainment now complimentary in Y)- On JFK-LAX/SFO flights, a Luvo® sandwich wrap and frozen Greek yogurt bar, pillow, blanket, and sleep kit are included
A few general notes regarding DL C+:
- On international a/c, the bulkhead seats often have a significant amount leg room (other than the 764).
- The bulkhead and exit row seats are often narrower as the tray table and/or IFE unit are in the arm rests. The arm rests do not move which, coupled with a smaller seat, can be uncomfortable for larger pax.
- The first row of regular economy seating after EC IS NOT recommended. The last row of EC has the EC recline and members have reported that there's no extra space between this row and the first row of regular Y.
- Selecting C+ Seats - You cannot select or purchase C+ seats until after booking is completed on revenue or award tickets. The UG has to clear as well.
Internationally Configured Aircraft
Per DL, International/transoceanic C+ offers 35" pitch and 6" recline. (LINK)
747-400 / 744 / 74S:
- dl.com seat map: 747-400
Rows 22-26 - 42 total C+ seats. - Legroom:
Row 22 ABC/HJK and 24 DEFG are the bulkhead seats. 22C/H are noted as having unlimited legroom and some have noted that people can congregate due to the proximity of the lavatories, which are located directly in front of the first row of C+ on the 744. 22ABC have recently received poor reviews because of the lav and galley - people tend to congregate in this area and it can become stinky. Comments on 22K indicate that pax can access the aisle without disturbing other passengers. Also, the lavatory near 22HJK is blocked for BusinessElite pax, so there tends to be fewer disturbances and become less smelly over the course of a long flight. Also, seats 22B and 22J can be used for bassinets.
Some might prefer the legroom of row 35/51 on the 744 with less recline and tray in armrest. - Related Threads and Posts:

The C+/Economy seats on a/c has winged headrests. - Legroom:
Row 29/31 seats are the bulkhead seats and have plenty of leg room. Rows 30-32/32-34 are standard C+ seats with USB and plug power. Row 44 (exit row) has excellent legroom, but no power outlets. The window seat sin this row are narrower because the tray table is in the armrest does not move up. The recline is standard recline.

On the 764, the bulkhead seats (row 15) have less leg room than the 763's; there's probably about 2' or so between the edge of the seat and the wall. The bulkhead seats do not have moveable arm rests and the tray table/IFE monitor are in the arm rests. In my experience, I felt like the A332/333 and 763's had better recline in EC than the 764. - IFE:

764 - if there's no one next to me, I'll take an EC seat as I do like the extra recline. That said, if it's a full flight I'll go with 30G (1st choice despite the cold) or one of the other seats - 30A/B/F. I like being able to get up without bugging my seatmate.

EC Bulkhead, EC regular of Row 30 on the 764?
I am going ATL to LHR in August. I am 6'6" but not too wide. Would appreciate this groups opinion on the following choices as I am traveling with a friend:
EC Bulkhead vs EC Regular vs row 30? My main concern is leg room. We have already booked the EC but will change to row 30 if it is a big difference.
If you are in 15 G&G like we currently are, is there more room than C,D,E? Will the window person be able to get out without disturbing the other one?
We could both go with C&E and hope for an empty middle. Even if it fills up I would be OK if I get enough leg room.
Hard to tell from the pics if there is enough room for a tall person, Would appreciate all feedback.
Thanks

Row 30 by far has the most legroom.

Thanks, I saw the pics. Not sure if the Fand G seats in row 15 have the same or more legroom to the bulkhead as the C,D and E seats. Row 30 has more leg room, but farther back and less recline. Trying to determine if EC bulkhead and/or non bulkhead have "enough" leg room, uncerstanding that is a subjective measurement.

EC Bulkhead: A Gamble?
I got just got auto-rebooked from a paid ATL-LGW flight in June to ATL-LHR routing, as DL is no longer flying to LGW. I have EC seats in the second row of EC and tried changing to the bulkhead. Aside from the fact that Delta's IT systems require that the entire flight be refunded and then rebooked if you want to change EC seats (!!), the supervisor informed me that, if I wanted the bulkhead, I would have to agree to run the risk of being moved from the bulkhead to "another available seat on the aircraft" if a "person of greater need" (I have a bum knee, but have scheduled the surgery after the LON trip) wanted the bulkhead. So, if another EC seat is available, I would get that, but if not, they would refund my EC fee and seat me anywhere they wanted (including a middle seat in the back of the plane). DL claims that this is a DOT regulation, so I guess there's nothing to do. Just be aware that securing a bulkhead seat is a gamble with a potentially uncomfortable downside--"Economy Discomfort" for the flight!

Thanks, rwoman. I thought that it didn't make sense, either, but both the reservationist and the suporvisor inisited that it was so. I think that I was able to make EC seat changes on-line last summer for an LGW flight, so I don't know what's true and what's not! (I guess I shouldnt be surprised about that!)

FYI everyone... this weekend, I'll be traveling with wife on two different kinds of 757s. We are sitting in 21E and 21F on both of the planes so I'll be able to report back what is really going on there.
And the flights are domestic. ATL-PBI and back...
Update: 21E and 21F on the 757 (with PTVs) had the Economy Comfort seats. It was great. Actually, I believe it goes back to row 22 on the right and row 23 on the left.
The extra 4" of leg room was a huge deal as we were traveling with our daughter (infant in arms)...

I have flown the 757 two more times recently and can report that row 21 on the left hand side, which is the first row of coach, is now a great place to be. Tons of legroom. The front row on this side used to be row 20, but since they took 3 seats out, the front row on the left hand side has a TON of legroom.

Comfort Economy to Tokyo - Worth it?
Hello Fellow FT'ers!
I am headed to Tokyo in May on the non-stop from Atlanta-Narita. I am booked on economy but considering to upgrade to Comfort Economy. Can anyone comment if the money is worth the upgrade? I am not that tall 5'11", but I do appreciate a good rest. Your comments are appreciated.

As a PM, I get EC for no charge.
I would not pay for it.

I'm PM so I get them "free", but if this weren't the case, I'd probably go ahead and pay for them. The emergency seats have a little less seat space due to the tray being between the seats. Also, the emergency window can get blessed cold... I've had FA's fill up empty water bottles with hot water and have me put them under blankets to keep me warm... I've also found that FAs dont' let passengers indiscriminately move up to the EC section. If those seats aren't paid for and the flight isn't full, you can often stretch out... I had 3 middle row seats to myself on a flight to LHR from MIA... Took an ambien, stretched out and slept like a baby..
