Status Changes:
There have been a couple of questions regarding C+ when a member's status drops down after January 31. Typically, seats will hold unless there is an equipment change. If there's a change, the passenger(s) will most likely be seated in regular economy. There are reports of some success contacting @delta to get reseated in C+.

Delta - Comfort+

Comfort+ FAQ - LINK
Offering:
- C+ is a complimentary upgrade (space available) for DM and PM after booking. GM can access for free at T-72 and FO at T-24. (There is no longer a discount for GM/FO.)
- Sky Priority boarding
- Extra legroom and, on international a/c, extra recline
- Free wine, spirits and regional craft beers, plus premium snacks
Complimentary premium entertainment from Delta Studio™(No longer relevant as of July 1st; Entertainment now complimentary in Y)- On JFK-LAX/SFO flights, a Luvo® sandwich wrap and frozen Greek yogurt bar, pillow, blanket, and sleep kit are included
A few general notes regarding DL C+:
- On international a/c, the bulkhead seats often have a significant amount leg room (other than the 764).
- The bulkhead and exit row seats are often narrower as the tray table and/or IFE unit are in the arm rests. The arm rests do not move which, coupled with a smaller seat, can be uncomfortable for larger pax.
- The first row of regular economy seating after EC IS NOT recommended. The last row of EC has the EC recline and members have reported that there's no extra space between this row and the first row of regular Y.
- Selecting C+ Seats - You cannot select or purchase C+ seats until after booking is completed on revenue or award tickets. The UG has to clear as well.
Internationally Configured Aircraft
Per DL, International/transoceanic C+ offers 35" pitch and 6" recline. (LINK)
747-400 / 744 / 74S:
- dl.com seat map: 747-400
Rows 22-26 - 42 total C+ seats. - Legroom:
Row 22 ABC/HJK and 24 DEFG are the bulkhead seats. 22C/H are noted as having unlimited legroom and some have noted that people can congregate due to the proximity of the lavatories, which are located directly in front of the first row of C+ on the 744. 22ABC have recently received poor reviews because of the lav and galley - people tend to congregate in this area and it can become stinky. Comments on 22K indicate that pax can access the aisle without disturbing other passengers. Also, the lavatory near 22HJK is blocked for BusinessElite pax, so there tends to be fewer disturbances and become less smelly over the course of a long flight. Also, seats 22B and 22J can be used for bassinets.
Some might prefer the legroom of row 35/51 on the 744 with less recline and tray in armrest. - Related Threads and Posts:

The C+/Economy seats on a/c has winged headrests. - Legroom:
Row 29/31 seats are the bulkhead seats and have plenty of leg room. Rows 30-32/32-34 are standard C+ seats with USB and plug power. Row 44 (exit row) has excellent legroom, but no power outlets. The window seat sin this row are narrower because the tray table is in the armrest does not move up. The recline is standard recline.

On the 764, the bulkhead seats (row 15) have less leg room than the 763's; there's probably about 2' or so between the edge of the seat and the wall. The bulkhead seats do not have moveable arm rests and the tray table/IFE monitor are in the arm rests. In my experience, I felt like the A332/333 and 763's had better recline in EC than the 764. - IFE:

JFL-TLV
My review of my economy comfort experience
JFK-TLV Flight 268
747-400
Cost: $120(each way)
2 weeks prior to flight, EC seats just started to fill up. By flight time, they were almost all gone.
Early Boarding : I can't comment on early boarding at JFK as I was very late getting to the flight in general. But when I finally did board the plane, there was plenty of overhead bin space in EC. Usually flights to and from TLV, its a battle royale, but I was pleasantly surprised just how much space there was in the overhead bins.
I didnt fly EC on the way back from TLV but I can say that the ground crew at TLV really struggled with early boarding. At first they announced that they were boarding (all passengers) and then there was a mad rush for the lines. Then they said only those is biz class and EC were allowed to board first..by then it was already chaotic.
Complimentary beer, wine, and spirits : Complimentary beer and wine is offered to all passengers on int. flights. So the only benefit is the spirits.
"Up to 50% more recline" : hmmm maybe more like 20%. Dont get me wrong, there is more recline, but its limited, as the person behind you still needs to see their screen.
Legroom: I had the pleasure of sitting next to an elderly couple, and I asked them how they like their EC seats. They didnt know what I was talking about. I explained to them that they are sitting in special seats that have more leg room. Their response?
"THIS is more leg room?"
They didnt even know that they had been upgraded. And I think I share their reaction.
I'm not that tall but I really need to stretch out my legs during flights. So I thought this EC product would do the trick. Unless your 6"2, I dont think the extra space is that noticeable. It is there, but very little.
The disaster on part of Delta and which makes these seats on this flight problematic is the aisle seats on the right hand side of the plane and the left hand side of the plane..(all "C" "H" from rows 23-31).
And that is that leg of the seat in front of each aisle seat protrudes into your leg space. Its cuts into your space where your legs rest, and widens the leg spacing in the middle seat. Take a look at where the leg is in front of my seat.
Its so poorly placed, I just have no idea what Delta was thinking. Its very restricted in terms of leg room/spacing. This issue does not happen for A,B,J, and K seats where the legs are aligned to the armrest. I cannot comment on D,E,F,G seats.
Row 24, seats D,E,F,G are great seats (D and G might be annoying due to traffic). Amazing leg space. Not so good pic below.
I would avoid all of 22-23. Between the noise from galley, constant washroom traffic, and the light from the galley (at night time) its not that great. That being said, if you plan on staying awake and you have ear plugs or will watch something all throughout your flight, the leg space in 22 is good. Picture is show below of 22-HJK
First to de-board: Well not really first, but it was nice to avoid the long line to get off the plane. This was a benefit.
IFE: I found the inflight entertainment to be great. Free HBO shows/movies in EC.
Integrated USB-power: was slowish at first, but kicked in after abit and charged up my iphone, which was great. Not the most covient of locations (near the screen) but still I was happy with it.
Inflight Power:- Im pretty sure I had a socket near my seat (see the green light above in pic 1) but I didnt use it.
Overall- for $120 each way- I didnt find much value in EC.
The extra space was minutely there, and the seat leg in my space really interfered with the comfort factor. Even without that seat leg, the spacing was too small. Early boarding..eh, im not sure what its provides, but quick de-boarding was great. I think Delta could improve on offering better service or better meals for EC seeing how wine and beer dont really add any value to EC.
That being said, I did see some pax who due to their weight and height, need just some leg space to make the flight somewhat better experience than regular economy. If early boarding and a little leg space helps them out, then its great that EC exists to make things that much smoother.

That's good, but my experience on several recent domestic flights on A320 and 757 nobody checked anything. And a couple of times I thought that the "perpetrator" made it obvious that they were in a seat that they didn't pay for. (Late boarding, looking around, deciding which seat to sit in)
I've never seen a Medallion 'upgraded' to an EC seat after boarding began.
No standby list exists, as far as I know. GM/PM/DM pax probably deserve one.

Need help IST-JFK flight 73
Can't figure out which EC seats to select on this 11+ hour flight on 5/20.
Right now I have 38 A, B.
EC shows available at 17-18-19 seats CDE (center)--and what is in front of 17 ABCDE but not FG? Rows 19 and 20 limited recline seats at exit rows; and 21 exit row, not showing limited recline. There is a big empty blob in the center row that appears to be a lav but there is no icon there on the DL seat map. But on Seat Guru shows the blob as a lav, if this is a 767-300ER 76U v3.
Can anyone suggest the 2 best ECs based upon what is showing available? .

I've looked over post #1 and (about a gazillion others) and what I see in this photo--4th one down on page-- http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...76g-763-a.html is being described as a 76G, yet SeatGuru's depiction of a 76G doesn't agree with the 76G in the photo. To me it looks like the 76U v (3). That's why I am confused.

I thought this would have been asked before but 1) I can't find it browsing through all the posts and 2) have been unable to find it using search function. Apologies if it's obvious.
What happens when my elite status changes from GM to FO at the end of this month and I'm booked in EC seats after Mar 1st?
Thanks!

EC 19F on 757-200 (75U version)
Hi all,
Any feedback on EC seat 19F (right side window bulkhead EC) on a 75U? It looked to be one of two left, which left me feeling suspicious.
I haven't flown on this version since the EC retrofit...so I'm referring to my FT consultants. It's a 2.5 hour flight, so it's worth the question to avoid a slide protrusion!
