dont know i would have expected otherwise but a fail at Riga (RIX) last night. almost to the point of amusement given the very clear lack of enthusiasm of the gate crew there.

"we would now like to call for boarding those passengers (in something could not hear), business class, priority, group 1 now." so just making it all up it seems!

it was a very very light load so the gate area was quite empty and i was just pleased they skipped the families there, so overall a win.

BA2541 at AMS yesterday - pre-boards called forward, then groups 1-3 and then group 0. Last week, on the BA 2644 LGW-AGP, I asked where group 0 should wait for boarding, to be told that Group 0 "does not apply on all flights yet and this flight is not in the trial". Group 0 and group 1 were then called together.

That second one is particularly poor. Definitely worthwhile submitting feedback about.

BA 441 yesterday AMS-LHR they did call group 0 separately, right after those needing assistance. So, well done, but of course it just means you are at the front on the jetty waiting for the cleaners to finish. Couple of group 1 passengers behind me asking what group 0 was and how many tier points you would need etc etc, all in good spirit.

About an 8 or 9 out of 10 on LHR - Faro on Sunday afternoon.

My personal experience was actually 10/10, as one of the Concorde Team who had come up to speak to my wife and I in the CCR earlier, and who had said he would keep an eye on the flight actually went the extra mile and was waiting for us at A15 as we walked up to the gate.

He opened up a side gate and boarded us in what he described as Group 00 for you today Mr Travels 😁

(Was only missing the 7 after the 00 &#128514.

As he was doing that there was a pre recorded announcement for Group 0 although there really wasnt much of a gap before Group 1 was called - if you werent already poised at the gate you would certainly not have been able to avail of Group 0 particularly easily.

But it might have been that we were the only Group 0 and given we had already been boarded there was no real need to leave a big gap.

Technically a group 0 call at LHR-EDI at A17 today. Group 0 called. Priority lane filled with people giving bags. A few group 1s go ahead. Nobody doing docs checks. Everyone with bags still ahead of me and we. Id have two separate bag queues.

I am aware of at least two passengers who havent had ID checked in the chaos.

Group 1 not yet called but lane is now magically full.

Fail at T5 for the afternoon fight on Monday to Jersey, while they did let group 0 ahead of group 1, it was behind about 30 high group gate checks who were allowed to board first.

So on my flight from ZRH BA3292 failed even more spectacularly.
around 10:10 gate staff realised that the flight is full so they need gate check bags. Which is fine. What they did called group 5. So half of the plane started to queue at the gate. Then 10:20 announcements that group 0 group 1 families with small children and people in group 5 should board. Well it just become a massive mayhem. So its complete failure today on two flights from ZRH.

I was called by one of the Premium team yesterday. One question she asked was if I had filled out the survey (I had done so). We discussed several things (I avoided the 'sustainability' subject ) but did mention Group 0. She feels that htey are getting it right, but have some way to go. One interesting thing was her comment that some BA staff 'need to do some lateral thinking' when the set-up is not perfect for Group 0 at the gate.

Had immediate boarding for all groups from JFK on a red-eye (using face recognition) but did not complain since the boarding was spectacularly fast.
