Hi All,

Quick report from our recent rip as per the above.

NCL-LHR. Asked check-in agent about Group 0 and was told,, 'oh, that's new. Not sure how it will work'. We left it at that. Boarding was from Gate 3 and as you can see the aircraft from the lounge, you can just about judge when boarding will commence. Mrs Jetsetmonty and I decide to leave the lounge about 1 minute before the gate information appears on the screen to try and beat the rush as the queue forms in the corridor as has been mentioned before.. Arrive at Gate 3 to no queue and a few people are already on board. A very easy experience but no thanks to Group 0 boarding, however.....
LHR-JFK. After a nice lunch in the CCR we take the train to B gates. A few people hanging around the gate area. I politely ask the lady at the entry point of Group 1-3 about 0 boarding and she says we will come and locate you. About 3 minutes later we are given the nod and board first. Seamless and pleasant, so that's a 'yes' from us here !!
JFK-LHR. After an early supper in the Chelsea lounge (by the way, great people working that night across the bar and restaurant, plus manager was very visible and perfectly accomplished and charming; a great experience here), I ask the (AA) lounge agent about Group 0 boarding. Was told you will be called at the gate; we know how it works. I then ask about timings; was told not boarding yet but to make our way down when the screen shows boarding. After another nice drink and chat at the bar we amble down to Gate 12. Guess what ? Plane boarding !! I mention this to the agent at the gate who said , 'oh we announced Group 0 about 5 minutes ago; we're boarding group 3 now !!. No problem jumping the queue but not what I think BA would like. So a no from here.
LHR-NCL. After a spot of breakfast in the CCR after the flight from JFK we make our way to A17. One couple in front of us at the Group 1-3 barrier. I then here the agent say to the crew at the gate that we will announce Group 0 first. The floater then walks to the Group 1-3 barrier and calls for all Group 1's to board. As we go through there is no mention from her about 0 but just as we have gone through the photo-check, there is an announcement about boarding group 0..... So a fail here. And let's not mention about cabin baggage in groups 4-9.

So all in all a mixed bag and I would suggest still a work in progress to date.

A few more NCL departures coming up so will keep you posted.

Safe travels.
