Or do these take longer to post as a separate line item?
In the past on PMCO, I had them post as a separate line item, and do so in some cases several days later. All of my bonuses have posted with the flights post-3/3 so far (fingers crossed).

April Fools

Just got off the phone with MP desk about missing credit for a flight. At first they tried to pin it on me for upgrading, hence the ON code, as if it was my fault After explaining it was a ticket purchased online, then upgraded, they acknowledged the IT problem with the ON code and told me their IT people have assured them this would be corrected by a "Sweep" on 1 April.

From reading this and other FT threads, I thought the "Sweep" was to occur today (Mar 27), hence my inquiry today.

The agent expressed their frustration with the new system...

Yes, I also read that March 27 was the correction date for that. Funny that the agent told you April 1 for the sweep, because in another thread someone reported that s/he was told by an agent that the sweep was to occur April 15.

Luckily I never trusted anybody to give me the PQMs for my upgraded to ON segments and I called in weeks ago and asked someone to do it for me. I slid in before the knowledge of any impending sweep became known by most of the agents. Otherwise, I bet that they would have just told me to wait.

I have been "assured" that a $1700 ticket and 15,000 miles I used to upgrade it are "in the refund queue". I'm not sure how long I'll have to wait for that.

I booked two flights purchasing first class ('A' fare - UA receipts confirm it). The outbound flights posted correctly, while the inbound flights show with a 'ZM' and 'ZH' code on my statement. Of course, the related AM, PQM, and PQS calculations are wrong and too low. Has anyone seen this before...?

Thanks.
Still waiting for the taxes to be refunded. Miles are recredited within hours.

Is that really the case? I have a IAD-LAX-HNL itinerary coming up in a few weeks. We're on the ground overnight in LAX, just about 13 hours. Can I use one RPU for the IAD-LAX-HNL?

At this point the level of confidence that youre going to get to Rome, Italy, as opposed to Rome, Georgia, is not very high, he said.

Is anyone having trouble logging in to their account today? I just keep getting looped back to the login page, or to a 403 error page (website declined to show this web page, please login for access).

Electronic travel certificates. Certificates are now redeemable on united.com. One case worth noting - certificates still cannot be redeemed online when the total price of the ticket is less than the value of the certificate (Resolved)
I don't think this is resolved at all! Had a 20% off-any-published-fare certificate good for any United and United Express operated flight combo, and tried to use it on a PEK-JAN round trip. Website wouldn't cooperate, in fact, inserting the e-cert INCREASED the fare.

Gave up on website, phone lines all busy here in Beijing, so went to local United ticketing office which is fortunately conveniently located to me. Nicely timed, nobody else waiting. (Fortunately, there are no fees assessed for ticketing using in-person or phone methods over here.) Was helped right away, reservations agent found a routing better than website presented to me, got pricing--then tried to use certificate. She ended up disappearing to the back room to work on using the thing with a supervisor helping. Came back about 20 minutes later and said that it didn't seem to be working even when they tried both public website and their own system. And also observed that a special problem seemed to be the segments that used to be Continental Express....now United Express...the system wouldn't recognize as valid. So apparently ex-Continental feeders have also not been fully integrated into the fold.

Ended up just holding onto the e-cert in hopes of using it later this year for something. And just paid for this ticket outright. If I'd had a better Star Alliance option for this trip schedule at a vaguely comparable price, I would have avoided UA completely during these Troubled Times. Grrrrrr.

Sorry, but a stupid article. So the agent didn't hear him properly. I don't think that's a system failure.

FWIW I did much better yesterday than before -- system seamlessly applied a recovery coupon to a new ticket, which it couldn't do last week. I called 1K line and had an agent in less than a minute, who processed my upgrades with no problem. (Though she did sound very tired.)

Cannot be looking at record while CSR is working on it

This was new - I called to cancel a couple of SWU/GPUs and the CSR said I couldn't be looking at the record while she was trying to fix it - said the system was kicking her out. So I logged out, and she said it worked. (Still waiting for the SWUs/GPUs to hit my account).

Weird - never heard this one before - I'm pretty sure I've had other itineraries up on my computer before while talking to a CSR.

The good news is that I've called the 1K line about 4-5 times now since the integration, and each time it has been answered within a few minutes.

Kinda says it all and I for one have experienced almost everything referenced in the article-including the debit card issue (tho no double charge or overdraft but still waiting on my refund due to a reservation not being ticket with an e-cert and being charged the full value of the fare)

Goalie, how long have you been waiting for your refund? I'm coming up on 2 weeks as of Friday.

It has only been 24 hours but where my ticket purchase was made with a debit card vs a credit card and thus the payment was cash, the refund needs to be processed within 48 hours so we'll see what hits my account overnight tonight.

ON booking code=bottom of the list?

I booked IAD-San via ORD months ago. The conversion moved me into the ON fare but all looked fine when I printed boarding passes with my confirmed 1st class seats for both legs.

The problem came up at the airport when I noticed the mobile app said I was not checked in. The agents at the Club figured out there was an equipment swap but also saw I was now with no seat and on the oversold list. Fifteen minutes of three of them clicking and they said they think it was because of the ON fare and I likely would not get on the flight.

The good news was they offered to try to get me on a direct flight but warned me the system was making it hard to do that. A half hour later and more clicking by three of them and I managed to get on the flight in a middle seat in e+.

The comments as they worked were "status means nothing now, it all depends on what you paid" and "I wish I could put you in a y fare but the system does not let us do that anymore. They also said they are allowed to waive some fees if they call it "training".

On the plus side my story got me a free breakfast from the flight attendant who noticed I looked a little squished trying to work with my computer when the guy in front reclined suddenly!
