My father in law is missing LX flight credit from mid-February still, despite his OP # being on the e-ticket (saw the receipt) and despite sending in a request to the old Mileage Plus email two plus weeks ago. Would really love to help him get them posted, but no idea where to turn next.
Thanks.

Six-leg ticket on 016 stock. Made one time change to an AC-operated flight leg.
To finalize this change:
Bonus 1: Having UA charge my CC five times for the same transaction.
Bonus 2: Having what must have been a former CO reservation agent tell me half a dozen times that she has no idea what my problem is. Her advice: Call Air Canada and fix it yourself (er, no, because I cannot technically connect reservations and ticket numbers, that is UA's job).
The merger has been bungled on an IT integration level to a degree I would not have expected - and should not have been.
But the attitude of the new COua towards solving problems it foists on its customers is something to behold.
I can all but guarantee that multiple business school case studies are already being worked on this issue. I am not sure if Jeff will like what they will say...
To finalize this change:
- 5 calls
- 3.5 hours on the phone
- Educating UA agents on the fact that just because UA's reservation system shows a reservation, partners (a) do not have this reservation populated into their reservation system, or (b) ticket numbers attached to a reservation

Perhaps an issue needs to be added regarding email response times?
I'm waiting for responses on issues from late January, mid-February, and 3 March issues.

Hi Shannon,
Is there going to be a reconciling of the class of service PQM bonuses added to flights where it should not have been (resulting in a lower/correct PQM total)? Not that I want this, but it will be good to know for planning purposes. Don't want any December surprises.

Account Doesn't Reconcile for March 25
I design for ERP implementations, and know a few things about "Going Live."
It's been over 3 weeks since the conversion and several things have happened and are happening.
United properly converted my miles.
It fixed the double deduction of upgrades.
So as of March 3, my data is correct.
Three items remain as issue AFTER the sytem conversion:
1) The United Mileaage calculator tool you see in the navigation breadcrumbs
Home > MileagePlus > Earn Miles > United Airlines
This calculator does not take into account the 500 mile minimum that Premiers and above get on flights.
2) My last UX flight booked in Full Fare Y did not calculate the proper Class of Service bonus according to the published table.
3) My Premier Qualifying Miles from my flights NRT to IAD in Z and IAD to YOW in Y do not reflect in the PQM balance.
Whenever I talk to United, I have a detailed reconciliation available.

UA Insider, could you please keep track in your master list post #1 of the issue that on the new united.com sometimes the "Upgrade" option is not displayed at all for some reservations.
I booked a few days ago 2 itineraries with e-certificates (I would guess it's the culprit but it could well be another factor). The tickets are issued, no current schedule change, but I still cannot see an "Upgrade" link (and it is displayed for the older, non-ecert purchase).
I've noticed that it also has been reported in this thread (various posts, including #15, #20, #21, #22...).
Also, I'm hoping that the inability to see the "Upgrade" link does not preclude the CPU to run properly on those itineraries...

- I have a two-passenger itinerary; we were in 6C/7G.
- I changed our seats online at united.com to 6C/6A.
- After I hit "Continue", mobile.united.com now shows that 6A is occupied and 7G is free.
- But united.com still shows that our seat assignments are 6C/7G.
- I called Reservations and they confirmed that according to their system we are in 6C/6A; they also resynced the ticket and the ticket currently shows us in 6C/6A.
Hoping things look OK at OLCI time.

I know it isn't what you are asking for here but I stopped downloading segments a good while ago in favor of TripIt. You can arrange for TripIt to automatically pick up your confirmation mails, create a trip, and then you can link your calendar to the one TripIt creates and get all the info (plus a lot more) in one place with virtually no work. If you already know all about this and it doesn't help, forgive the post. I never assume folks necessarily know about all the tools out there.
It was that easy.
Thanks.

RPU's are still glitchy and not always processing correctly. Had SFO-IAD for next sat and was waitlisted w/ 2 RPU's pre-merger. Checked inventory this morning and it was showing R8 but the RPU's were still waitlisted & not clearing. Ended up calling and having them manually clear me.
I think the bottom line is you have to baby sit this process. But on the positive side, I got through to an agent within 5 minutes.

UA upgrades
I am trying to read this whole thread. Very frustrated with my flying on UA the last several weeks. Trying to rebuild all the info. in my account. Having a lot of the same problems being discussed. Question for anyone who might know. I was not upgraded on the second leg of a flight today but was offered to purchase the upgrade. Is this now the new policy of UA?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Finally! My status is reflected properly. I was listed without status since the March 3rd merge meltdown, but it finally showed up, today. I'd log in every few days and it would just say Premiere. So for the past month I've been flying other airlines.

Today, the proper status showed up.
However, it may be too late for UACO. As you can see, I've barely flown them this year. I've had it with bad service. Plus "status" doesn't mean anything anymore.

Still no miles for a thru flight on the 16th.
Also waiting miles from a flight dumped into ON class to be posted.
