2 Small issues:

1. I still did not receive my Premier Platinum card (However, I got a Premier Gold).

2. I have an unexpected reservation showing KEP to KEP. I can't delete it somehow.

SHA issue (Doesn't recognize Shanghai Hongqiao Int'l Airport )

Hi UAinsider,

New United website doesn't recognize Shanghai Hongqiao Int'l Airport (Code: SHA) for reservation. The airport is the main domestic airport in Shanghai and is served by Star Alliance partners Air China, All Nippon and Asana.

Currently, the only airport appears on the reservation page is Shanghai, Pudong Intl Airport which United serves.

This is a known issue to PMCO website and I hope the team will solve it easily just by inputting airport data.

While you're at it please put in RGN, HAN, VTE, PNH, KUL etc. There is still no ability to get an intra S Asia itin award search run.

And I really don't care to hear it's because of partner airline availability.

Has there been any post addressing this issue?

Maybe, but I was able to stand-by or SDC this morning via an agent at the ORD C UC. I took the SDC and the agent had no problem making it so. I did have to give up 7A for 31D, but I got home early.

On the other hand I couldn't reprint boarding passes at PDX last night. Had to see an agent. The new BP is a very poorly designed cluster f***. Why does CO have such an awful eye for design??

Unrelated, but I watched a customer who had no idea about her new MP# be told at the gate that the computer does not accept the old # as of 3/3 and she would have to ask for retro credit. I felt sad for her.

And finally, since GS/Military are not a group, I predict agents will skip them often and start with group 1.

Wow! UA! I used to be able to book intra S Asia awards from KUL. Now it wouldn't even load KUL-BKK (and there should be plenty of availability with TG, MS or LH).

I was not offered SDC or stand-by via check in either..But going through "manually" thru "Change Flights" I was able to for $0

It won't load any S Asia itin that I've searched (bar SIN-HKG and SIN-SGN) every other airport in S Asia won't even give a calendar.

The same airlines that should populate these award routes are showing up in other award region searches so it has nothing to do with partner airlines not being loaded.

It appears these airports ahven't been loaded. I've posted about this on a handful of occasions but it's yet to be addressed.

On so many levels this whole merger of, cough cough, equals, is a mess.

So how long does it take flights to post in the new world?
And related, how long before I know a GPU or CPU has been removed from my account after a flight in which I used it successfully.
And to clarify, you have no way to see used GPU/CPU as you did before?
No way to see if you are on upgrade list?
Biut is there a way to see if you tried to upgrade with an instrument, to see that the upgrade is pending.

So far, other than a couple of minor glitches, and my unfamiliarity with the new system, things seem to be smooth. Data is there, my call to 1k was answered in 5 minutes on Saturday (after I got dumped twice).
Have to see I don't like the award booking engine as well.

I'm happy to report I was just able to successfully book UA flights using US miles. (not ticketed yet, but booked, and have a UA PNR).

Has *anyone* had their upgrade issue (GPU/RPU) fixed yet?

Not touching any in my account as they'll pull later expiring ones before the earlier expiring ones that magically "disappeared"

I'm still sitting at -2 what it should be.... at least the issue is on UAInsider's post 1 now.

Can't log in

I was able to log in yesterday and was reminded of the new membership ID. Today, I couldn't log in any more, using either the old or new membership ID. The page told me to contact customer service. Waited almost 2 hours on the phone before I was dropped.

Is this a system-wide glitch that UA is actively looking at, or is it a unique problem that only affects me that I need to resolve by contacting customer service?

Try using the new MP # with your old PMUA MP password (case-sensitive), perhaps, instead of PMCO PIN.

I have heard of a few similar glitches, but most seem to have been ones folks found a way around (by some combination of new & old MP #s, CO OP #, and passwords & PINs). If you ever set up a username for your PMCO account, you can also try that and its password...
