Well, I no longer have a problem with what is on the web site since I no longer can sign in.
Yesterday, I lost the ability to make a reservation from EWR to ANC and the agent couldn't even help. Tried again today, all flights sold out, delayed my trip by one day and was able to get a flight reserved but it has been more than three hours and it still is not ticketed. Oh but the price did go up!!!

However, the woman checking in the cards said there will be no more boarding pass check-ins at UC's, cards only. Is this accurate?

Otherwise, she *did* say things were running much more smoothly at SFO today. Let's hope so!
They checked me in fine using just the ticket. Apparently there is a system issue that requires them to enter it manually right now. Huge backup entering the club. Managers were all huddled around the screens. Not much they could do on this end.

From what I understand SQ business class DOES NOT get you into the Swiss lounge. It only gives you access to the shared Oasis lounge. As a *GOLD I can access the Swiss lounge. However that is subject to the whims of the Swiss staff manning the lounge desk. If I have the card (printout) and *GOLD listed on the boarding pass they cannot deny me entry. Just covering my bases.

Clearly you haven't been following all the hollering

This has been (& continues to be) a severe discrepency

It seems to be the IM strategy against the written rules

To me & many of my friends this is a dreadful devaluation

A modification has been made . . . message (includes mapping between ON and R). Some tickets, including many that have been upgraded with a Global Premier Upgrade, Regional Premier Upgrade or a Mileage Upgrade Award may display the message, A modification has been made to your itinerary. Please contact United Reservations to have your ticket reissued.
This might have been fixed ^ so check your itineraries as mine (waitlisted flight using an RPU) now shows correctly with only "This flight segment is waitlisted" in red

+1

I have a reservation indicating "This reservation has been refunded" with the seats, etc. still intact. Guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Mine has always had the waring and the Red Waitlisted.. No change for me. I still am wondering why they want us to call in. I waited 55 minutes before and had to hang up. 1P line is not that speedy..

Day 3 - CO# (New UAMP#) Not Recognized by US

I supplied US agent with my old CO Plat card with the CO#, which is my new UAMP#. The system did not recognize my *G status.

I switched to my now expired 1K card with my old UAMP# and the US system printed out new boarding pass with my old UAMP# and *G.

I can't believe this problem exist at Day 3 of merger.

Of course I don't have my new 1K card yet. I am glad that I am not traveling internationally this week.

LGA RCC said that they've also gone to swiping cards for entry. At least I didn't have to pull out my ID at the same time.. Guess we'll see what happens the next time I visit a PC.

If this is the policy going forward (not my experience today in sfo uc) they are going to be sorely disappointed. My uc card is demagnetized.

US Online Checkin Not Recognizing New Number

I just put in my new number online to print out my US boarding pass -- pass does not show me as Star Gold, and put me in Boarding Zone 5.

US phone agent was clueless on how to solve -- said he could not un-check me in and replace new MP number with my old one. He told me to take it up with airport counter agent.

For all those that have boarding area 5 but are 1K/GS/have some status, does it reflect that on the BP too? If that is the case I'd be buggered if I am going to board last and would just show my card or my BP.

Assuming you're asking about a US boarding pass, it does NOT show any status at all. I am Star Gold / United Premier Gold, and neither status is on the document.

That's a bug known log since before the merger. Once upgraded you go into a bucket displaying a 0% earning. But you will get the bonus you expect.

No, I checked with a Premier Silver colleague who had a different phone number.

There are two different kinds of upgrades being discussed. Segment upgrades, which offer a low amount to upgrade to F, are only advertised
(at OLCI and kiosk) once the booked elites are accounted for. The buy up to F (sUA had a similar program), can be done by anyone at anytime. Some/most of the ridiculously low ones were recently reported by UA Insider as being due to a bug in identifying market cities (I forget the exact term, but IAD/DCA being considered WAS and EWR/LGA/JFK being considered NYC). The term TOD has really lost it's meaning because people throw it out when the offer is $350.

If they is you, you're right. You'll have to wait until they key in your number instead of swiping. Not sure how to get a replacement, but I bet the UC matrons can tell you.
