Other than chocolate over strawberry, that menu choice sounds dead solid perfect. ^

William Shatner is actually a surprisingly talented vocalist.

The inspiration for my Holiday Greeting video this year. It started purely as a joke years ago.

I have been as well or so much has been left out that it seems out of context. They did run an article that had to do with flying with kids with BL JR was a baby and it ran with a photo of us and all our stuff (which of course was a lot). It also ran in the Int'l Herald Tribune on the cover of a section and MR BL was overseas somewhere; he went to breakfast and his boss said "your wife and baby are on the cover of the paper" - needless to say he was a bit surprised :o

There is always time for Whataburger. If you are lucky, the A1 Thick N'Hearty burger will still be on offer (if they offered it all the time, most of their clientele would die from excessive arterial plaque). If not, I highly recommend a Bacon-Cheese Whataburger with Onion Rings (with Whataburger Picante Sauce for dipping) and a Strawberry Malt. It's the finest 9,000 calorie snack around.

I believe I've made all of one trip to Whataburger in my 6+ years in IAHland. Have any of you tried Culver's (midwest; out of Wisc. I believe) and their butter burgers?

This post is useless without links. :D Disclosure of my own: I have promised myself that at some point in the next few years, I will, to a select few people who will get the joke, send out a Christmas card of my own authoring and design that I have already once created but deleted. I found a great screencap of Randy Quaid as Uncle Eddie, and below it simply read: "Merry Christmas. $hitter was full." Below that will be my signature and nothing else. I want to do that, and my fiancee has even gotten a laugh out of my desire to do this.

No, but I'll add them to my list. Best burger chain I have recently experienced that (until recently) wasn't present in IAH was Five Guys Burgers. Good stuff.

Mrs. MBM3 and I had a fun evening debating which weekend to attend JazzFest. Given my birthday on the second weekend, I think that will win out.

I'm assuming you got the e-mail about the line up being announced ?

My fiancee and I typically hit up a Culver's with the newpews to be when we visit them in the MSP area. Their burgers are decent and their ice cream is quite tasty as well.

Five Guys is on my list to try after the New Year. I was down at most 27 pounds over the last six months recently, and staying at that number has been very hard recently, and it was made harder still today with the arrival of this year's version of the thank you chocolate basket that my ticket broker sent me. It's very nice to see that they didn't forget about me. ^

My curiosity has been peaked as well. IIRC, Hartmann promised me a Wattaburger visit during my next trip to Houston.

Here's the thing about Five Guys, order the smaller burgers. The regular size ones are massive. I don't know about most, but the one in Cherry Hill would go nuts with the fries too. They put a little cup in your bag and end up filling the whole bag up with fries.

You could see if they would route you on BR via TPE and go TPE-EWR or TPE-LAX, SFO or SEA and then onward on CO to EWR since it's a CO Codeshare ; ask for at least Elite class (if not PL) which would seem doable.

Could Five Guys smaller burgers be compared to Fuddruckers? That is the most recent burger bar experience I've had, at the one in the NY Waterway station in Weehawken.
