You could see if they would route you on BR via TPE and go TPE-EWR or TPE-LAX, SFO or SEA and then onward on CO to EWR since it's a CO Codeshare ; ask for at least Elite class (if not PL) which would seem doable.

Excellent choice that everyone had heretofore not thought of.

My fiancee and I typically hit up a Culver's with the newpews to be when we visit them in the MSP area. Their burgers are decent and their ice cream is quite tasty as well.

I like the cheese curds.

Could Five Guys smaller burgers be compared to Fuddruckers? That is the most recent burger bar experience I've had, at the one in the NY Waterway station in Weehawken.

The Five Guys smaller burgers seem slightly smaller than Fuddruckers smalls but I haven't been to Fuddruckers in years so I can't really compare.

Happy to contribute something at least somewhat worthwhile ;)

Yup and posted the link here in the Box. I have seen better line-ups, but half the time it doesn't matter much once you get there. Ticket prices have jumped lately since we paid $15/day the first time we went. Couples favs were Buddy Guy, John Mayer in his early days, Steve Miller, The OJays, Lady Lover Cool J, Marsalis Family and sooo many more. Plus, you gotta love a venue where they will sell you a twelver and ask if you want ice to keep it cold in the pit.

My curiosity has been peaked as well. IIRC, Hartmann promised me a Wattaburger visit during my next trip to Houston.

It's Whataburger, but you're forgiven. I will be making nightly runs to Whataburger, and possibly morning runs as well for Breakfast on a Bun, in conjunction with and/or in addition to any runs planned by Hartmann. Those Box denizens who wish to participate are quite welcome.

I've also got to get a pint of Blue Bell at some point. I've met my Waffle House quota on my recent trips to ATL.

...and I wonder why my Indian name is Walking Whale.

MSY is a special place. I can't believe the Significant Otter actually wants to have the wedding there. Surely she considered that I and the groomsmen would be left to our own devices in New Orleans for at least a day or so prior to the wedding. :D

Of course! There's even a location that's only about a 5-10 minute drive from IAH. I'll volunteer to give you a ride, as this displaced Texan will probably be craving some Whataburger too.

Burger on a bun is good, but be sure to let them know that Breakfast Taquitos are also an option. Unfortunately, the quality of taquitos can vary wildly from Whataburger to Whataburger, whereas the burgers are generally of uniform tastiness.

I must have missed your ealier post in today's multi page day (been awhile) I was some what disappointed in the line up when I read it this weekend. Might do first weekend again if I can get decent airfare. Might have to fly NWA this year as they are 1/3 the price of CO. Last year's photos

Ack! Blasphemy! ;)

I've seen Culver's, but never eaten there. What the heck makes it a butter burger? Do they put butter on it or something?

6 times so far for me, including bachelor party. Amazing city with such great heritage. Some of my best pics have come from there and some of my fondest memories, albeit hazy ones.

Now why the heck didn't anyone tell me about Hurricanes when I was in college? The things I could have............
