I don't think I would be too upset with BD, SA, CX, or EY.

You have to be more specific, otherwise you end up in my boat, flying off to wonderful tourist destinations such as CRW, LCH, and DMM.

[edit]

Oh yeah, in coach!

Or 9W. That said, I am not certain that SQ J is worlds above EK J - EK (new) J has quite a bit going for it, IMO.

I don't believe I have seen pics of their new J. Is it on the 772LRs that ply IAH-DXB? I'm considering redeeming some BD miles for the new QR IAH-DOH flight. They seem to get fairly good reviews, as well.

More specific...if I had the degree and the background and I was single, I would try to find a heavy-travel job. I found one, but didn't have the qualifications at the time. Then I got the girl. Love my girl, but I'd love to see more of the world than I have.

I have done the SQ EWR-SIN a few times , It was very good in the old spacebed , Im looking forward to my SIN-EWR in the new C in july.

I was being sarcastic ;)

I'm a consultant and have found out the hard way that even though some of the folks get to see the far off places of the world in this business a lot don't. I've seen my share but it definitely isn't what I imagined.

On what date does SQ actually convert over to all J on EWR-SIN?

In the past year on my bi-weekly flights PHL-IAH, they usually occur on Saturday mornings (CO #1677 5:30 to 5:55AM departure). This week, I am scheduled on a Friday morning flight. This is the first time I have not made the 3 day EUA! I don't understand the pda.continental.com/info. It only shows 5 people who have been upgraded into 1st. It shows for the Upgrade Standby List: "No customers currently standing by." I am. I hope. I bet I'll get the upgrade when I check in tomorrow.

OPFlyer Jun 18, 2008 2:38 pm

It will only show you as standing-by once you have checked-in.
