Yes I did a search. Yes I checked the FAQs. Yes I checked both AS and CO's websites. I'm flying VS out of LAX, which now shares a terminal with AS. Can I use the boardroom as a Pclub holder or do I have to have same day ticket on AS? Thanks in advance since I can't find anywhere on here (I so wish VS hadn't moved from Term 6!).

I read on this site that you need a same day ticket on AS to use their lounge but it seems that several people smile and will get into some of the clubs with their Pclub card. Guess it depends on who's sitting at the door. Good luck.

Remember VS arrives at the International Terminal at SFO.

Thanks!!!! I will give it a try and see what happens. If not, no big deal.

Got to love North Texas. It's raining outside and a few minutes ago the tornado sirens were blaring. Fortunately the really bad stuff has moved east of where I am and is heading east, away from here. So no worries right now.

Yeah, I miss the 777 between IAH and EWR. I always got upgraded on that route on that plane — even as a Silver in 2005.

Man, I remember when they used to fly LAX-IAH on the 777 when they first arrived. That and the DC-10s. That coupled with 24-seat 757s on transcons, i got upgraded without status on those things.

EWR was busy today and xyzzy ended up on my flight tonight. Sadly the last three seats sold on my flight and everyone showed-up, so I had to slum it in whY. Though, the back of a 753 only had 81 people.

It seems right now hardly anybody is flying. I had flights that had less than a 50% load factor the week of Thanksgiving. No wonder US was willing to sell me a F ticket for so little.

My ATL-IAH flight today was pretty empty in Y. Most middle seats were empty, and the ones that were taken mostly appeared to be parties of three or families with kids traveling.

My IAH-DAL flight had a whopping 13 — yes, 13 — passengers on it. I've taken that very same IAH-DAL flight on Monday afternoon before when it was oversold and they were trying to bump people to the next flight.

While waiting for that flight at B-84 , I counted only about 40 passengers. Both ATL and IAH were dead today. Really dead.

Wish I was flying... Desk jockeying just doesn't cut it for me.

And I have a terrible sinus headache, pain from my cheek to my forehead.

G'day to you too.

It's fixin to warm up considerably between today and tomorrow in NY. I think the high today is 46 and the low is 52. Tomorrow high of 59.

This should create some wicked storms.

Anyone fixin to be in DCA today or tomorrow?

Since just before Thanksgiving, most of the US airports which I have traveled to or through have been completely dead, even on peak days and at peak times.

Lord! A 763 in to DCA?!?!?!? Some DL passengers got one heck of an approach and landing, putting those seatbelts to good use. Some sort of proving run for DL - perhaps for charters or inauguration?

End of summer travel season for leisure flyers, beginning of serious belt-tightening by corporations, and airfares have now been high for several months. My guess is it's starting to take a cumulative toll. I wonder when the airlines will take a page from retail and start slashing fares significantly, considering we haven't seen oil this low in years. You can only cut capacity so much before your network is useless to business travelers, or you open yourself up to serious competition.

Would have been an interesting flight to be on, though I would have been a little antsy myself, especially after watching the DL CRJs come into DCA ;)
