Whatever happened to Connie Chung?

In January 2006, Chung and Maury Povich began hosting a show titled Weekends with Maury and Connie on MSNBC. It was Chung’s first appearance as a television host since 2003. The show was subsequently cancelled and aired its final episode on June 17, 2006. On this episode, Chung, dressed in a white evening gown and writhing atop a black piano, sang a parody to the tune of Thanks for the Memory. Video clips of the bizarre, off-key farewell performance circulated on internet video sites. Connie herself commented, “All I want to be sure of is that viewers understood it was a giant self-parody. If anyone took it seriously, they really need to get a life.”[6] On the June 27, 2006, episode of The Tonight Show, Chung was interviewed by Jay Leno regarding her "Thanks for the Memories" parody. During the interview, Chung poked fun at her show’s low ratings, referring to the musical number as a “private joke for our two viewers.”

Wow! I can't believe you're going to miss it!

Playing with ESRI and GIS data is not the most fun in the world, but I'm doing it for you folks. There are some really cool things possible with all of the different information made available by the government (census data).

Crossed my mind. Arriving from an international destination would be nice too.

The only aircraft type missing on the Do's FM/OF is a 777. There's no 764ER, but the 762 is spoken for. 752 and 753 are, and so is every variant of the 737 except 900ER.

Like sbm12, I was offered a refund to Travel Voucher for my flight, but the L fare I got in on was not available for the only other alternate dates I could travel. I gotta get all my travel in early next year to requalify, as I won't be able to travel as much after the wedding. :(

I was watching CNN at 05:30am in the MSY CRC this morning. They reported wind-chill of -18 in BTV. I'll likely have a Cajunsicle on my hands in a few weeks. :D

Which is why I think I finally gave up down-hill skiing. That and the snowboarding incident. I didn't think it was possible to break one's behind, but it is.

Does departing to an international destination count? I am almost certainly going to be departing from IAH to Peru. I looked at front-loading the week with that trip but the fares didn't work out as well.

I second that. :(

Well, I am in a dilema now. I am planning on making it down for the DO but don't know if I will be heading out to California after the DO or back to OK as the event I usually do in California is not looking like it will be as big as before and thus I might not be able to go. HMMMMMM...
