I used to know how to pull up that info. How does one accomplish that, again?

I also recommend "You'll Have Time" on that same album. To wit, the lyrics:

Maybe not today or even next year
But before you know it you'll be saying
"Is this all there was?
What was all the fuss?
Why did I bother?"
Now, maybe you won't suffer maybe it's quick
But you'll have time to think
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time
Because you're gonna die.
Yes it's gonna happen because it's happened to a lot of people I know
My mother, my father, my loves
The president, the kings and the pope
They all had hope
And they muttered just before they went
Maybe, I won't let go
Live life like you're gonna die
Because you are
Maybe you won't suffer maybe it's quick
But you'll have time to think
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time
'Cause you're gonna die
I tell you who else left us
Passed on down to heaven no longer with us
Johnny Cash, JFK, that guy in the Stones
Lou Gehrig, Einstein, and Joey Ramone
Have I convinced you?
Do you read my lips?
This may come as news but it's time
You're gonna die
You're gonna die
By the time you hear this I may well be dead
And you my friend might be next
'Cause we're all gonna die
Yeah, oh maybe you won't suffer and maybe it's quick
But you'll have time to think
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time
You'll have time cause you're gonna die
Yes, you're gonna die
You're gonna die, I tell you
You're gonna die
You are gonna die
'Cause maybe you won't suffer maybe it's quick
But you have time to think
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time 'cause you're gonna die
Live Life
Life life like you're gonna die
Because you're going to
Oh yes
I hate to be the beater of bad news
But you're gonna die
Maybe not today or even next year
But before you know it you'll be saying
"Is this all there was?
What was all the fuss?
Why did I bother?
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?"
You'll have time, baby
You'll have time
'Cause you're gonna die
You are gonna die
Oh yeah

In other news, had my first dinner ever at the Palm on the east side tonight, thanks to CO Fan. Good food and good times. Didn't have the key lime pie for dessert...

Were you guys at 837 2nd or 840? And did you two decide if you're joining the party flight? The dessert not to be missed at the Palm is the chocolate cake or the cheesecake. My fiancee fancies the carrot cake above all, and the creme brulee I had in ACY recently was to die for.

William Shatner is actually a surprisingly talented vocalist. I highly recommend his collaborative cover of "Common People" (originally by Pulp) on the Album "Has Been" ^

Too much recycled CO air?  (;))

No. "Has Been" is actually an excellent collaborative album between Shatner and several very good artists (Pulp, Ben Folds, Lemon Jelly). I rediscovered some mp3s on one of my removable Hard Drives this evening. I'm glad I did, I thought I would have to pay to download some artists albums I thought I had lost (The Zutons, Starlight Mints, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Cake, et. al.).

I just spoke to my friend in LAS. He told me it was snowing there yesterday.

ConciergeMike Dec 16, 2008 8:46 pm

I've heard "Ordinary People" and I never really understood the joke behind having Shatner sing on it. I honestly thought it was a goof.

But OTOH, I'm totally with you on Cake. "The land where large fuzzy dice..." :D As a former owner of fuzzy dice, I can dig their stuff.

Imagine coming out of O'sheas at dawn to see a coating of snow. I would simply turn around and order another double vodka rocks and drop my bet on the pass line. :D

Of course, this is the last IAH-EWR flight of the day (arrives around 1am) but I am still surprised to see an empty F cabin between IAH and EWR.

That flight actually isn't very hard to get upgraded on. The very last EWR-IAH flight each day is often fairly easy as well. And the first flights early in the morning in each direction are easier to upgrade on.

Does anyone have the link to the thread post here a few days ago, somthing about some lady diving on the belt to grab her bag after checking it with the agent. It was a funny and I wanted to finish reading it, I just couldnt remember where I saw it.

I would wonder out loud if Hell had indeed frozen if I saw snow in Las Vegas. Critically nonacclaimed flick though it was, "Fools Rush In" with Matthew Perry provided one of the better lines about LAS, delivered by the co-star, Jon Tenney: "Why didn't they just build this city on the f***ing sun?" :D

Yeah, I don't think I've ever miss the last flight of the day going in either direction. Like I said, I was just very surprised to see no one else up front.
