I wouldn't. It's not your decision to make, and if you argue, you'll probably be less likely to get it.

It shouldnt, though it will be tough on the agent to ticket. Bottom line, have some fun and check all of your options. www.skyteam.com will help, as will we.

Taking VS across the pond, and the VS Clubhouse at LHR, make it all worthwhile! Or, for the geek in ya, try grabbing a 74M or MD11 out of AMS.

VS to and from LHR is the way to go ^

I never had the opportunity to take a bump when flying for personal travel. I read our corporate travel policy and if I were to be bumped, or take and VDB, I would have to turn the cert over to the corp. travel people.

That's insane. But, how would they know?

CSA Czech Airlines' Code is OK, not CZ. They recently overhauled their biz cabin on the A310 that is dedicated to PRG-JFK. I saw photos (perhaps on A.nut, but don't recall), and the new seats look equivalent to CO BF on the 767s.

As for getting to SPU, you will likely have to use Croatia Airways (Aren't they a *A associate member?) to get there. Personally, I would recommend getting to FCO, then connecting onwards to TIA (Albania!) with AZ. You could then find your way to SPU via Croatia airways, or (even better) with some Albanian carrier of dubious vintage.

I'm surprised they are still going on about the F food. I'm guessing many haven't tried the current chicken sandwich in Y. A suggestion to Chelsea, change the bun (nasty, what's that quote by Gordon B. about making a bun so cheap no one will eat it?) and use a mayo packet instead of ketchup.

A retrofit of the OK J cabin?? What's next? Lie flat in CO J? ;)

The old product was horrible. If they offer the new product consistenly then it is a great option suffenly available, as OK J rewards weren't too hard to find.

I just got a +5 day EUA notification for my IAH-EWR flight. When I went to change my seat, I was shocked to find that I'm the only person up front.

Of course, this is the last IAH-EWR flight of the day (arrives around 1am) but I am still surprised to see an empty F cabin between IAH and EWR.

William Shatner is actually a surprisingly talented vocalist. I highly recommend his collaborative cover of "Common People" (originally by Pulp) on the Album "Has Been" ^

The 90K reward is dead. Long live the king, errr 100K reward. Seriously, though, the 5E or 6E series, whichever it was, it dead.

If any volunteers have connections it might get you eliminated from getting bumped unless I can rebook you without any major issues and/or you are willing to spend the night if need be. If you are sitting in F and wish to volunteer, I will ask and ask again that you understand that I might only be able to rebook you into Y class and if you agree then I will accept your seat for consideration.

If you are wondering why I hold your boarding pass, it's so you can't get on board and change your mind. With our automative oversale manager you are asked at checkin if you would like to be a volunteer but until you actually speak with me, I don't consider you as one. I like to ask what you are willing to do with regards to rebooking and if you are willing to spend the night, if need be. I also will want to keep you on CO if at all possible.

Glad to hear that there is a method to the madness. ;)

In other news, had my first dinner ever at the Palm on the east side tonight, thanks to CO Fan. Good food and good times. Didn't have the key lime pie for dessert, but after flying DL F last night and having all the Biscoff I wanted, it is hard to know what to compare against. :p

:rolleyes::rolleyes: - that is well and truly nuts, and even if you did the policy thing and turned over the cert, does anyone really think that it would end up being used to defray corporate travel? If so, please consider buying beachfront Arizona land for when California falls off.

I'm not. The  factor is staggering in that thread.

+1. You have an obligation and you meet it. How you go about meeting it should be NFBBY.

Oh, and since I had no takers on the Fart of God reference, if anyone does indeed care, "God's Fart" is the popular nickname for the report from the 30mm cannon in the nose of the A-10 Warthog. I live about seven miles from a rather infamous USAF bombing range, and when the wind blows the right way I get all the good sound: practice bombs detonating, 20mm cannon, 30mm cannon, and all the bada$$ flying one can ask for. I have a dummy 30mm round from that cannon; I'll have to post a pic with something else in the frame for a good reference.
