Well said. There's a line that gets crossed when posting here that you should feel weird crossing. You know that you're Box when you look at that line and say "Meh."

Steak should never be cooked past rare, IMO. Still mooing is a good place to start. So is walking slowly with the meat through a warm kitchen. :D

It's a small club and they all know me. Small excuse, but my head really feels like it's a few tons too heavy right now.

Now I'm starting to think I should go to that a conference in October in Kansas City, MO. Last great steak I had was there. Don't remember the restuarants name but eveyone got their steak (group of 12) the way they ordered it. The happiest people were the two who asked for it to be very rare and it came out perfect in their mind. I prefer it medium. I know, that's a sin. Better than someone I know who likes it cooked solid as a rock. As he says, "You don't want to buy me a steak, you'd be wasteing your money."

My fiance (and her father) will order the nicest steak, and then smother in it ketchup. I nearly cry every time.

Be aware of the lounge situation in TPE. Apparently BR doesn't handle it as well as one might think. There have been some threads about it in Other Asian Carriers. I'm looking at a trip to TPE in January or February to meet with a new ODM (first time to Asia, woot) and I don't fit in Y. The Y+ they have seems to be right up my alley, and not horrifically expensive.
The lounge situation is that everyone except golds flying on PL and Diamonds get sent to the biz lounge; which is fine. I've never not been able to find a seat and outlet. Free wifi and the food selection is decent. |

VX has a nice product. Enjoy the flight, and the free booze.
I heart VX. Love the tapas box. |

I've done that. My favorite steak sauces are Lea and Perrins and HP Steak Sauce made by Lea and Perrins (they might be the exact same thing)

At the risk of raising the ire of every HHH local (they do exist) - I'll let the box in, on a little secret.
Harold's Diner on HHH has the best burgers I've ever had. Sounds kinda like ALCO's MSY place. Harold's is more or less strictly a locals spot and it's about the size of your computer monitor. If word gets out amongst the touristas, it'll be unbearable. They have absurd hours and the service is non-existent (they don't hesitate to yell at their customers for being idiots or a-holes), but that's part of the charm. That, and the food. Oh. My. Goodness. baglady, ever been? |
