Be aware of the lounge situation in TPE. Apparently BR doesn't handle it as well as one might think. There have been some threads about it in Other Asian Carriers. I'm looking at a trip to TPE in January or February to meet with a new ODM (first time to Asia, woot) and I don't fit in Y. Harold's Diner on HHH has the best burgers I've ever had. Sounds kinda like ALCO's MSY place. Harold's is more or less strictly a locals spot and it's about the size of your computer monitor. If word gets out amongst the touristas, it'll be unbearable.

They have absurd hours and the service is non-existent (they don't hesitate to yell at their customers for being idiots or a-holes), but that's part of the charm. That, and the food. Oh. My. Goodness.
