The post that previously appeared in this space has been deleted. I would provide you with a reason why, but doing so would likely be against the TOS.

I just realized I had my 700th flight yesterday. I was several weeks behind on my FlightMemory so I used a dead period at work to get it caught up.

Next week — a new airport, a new route, and a new aircraft type.

What kind of job/industry are you looking to move into?

I'd like to do consulting, implementations, project management.

My background is in IT in the oil/gas industry (both upstream and downstream). I was a programmer and moved more into the technical consultant role overseeing implementations.

I don't mean to belittle your dissatisfaction with your job, but your statement "in fact, I would argue that it has made me dumber" made me laugh out loud (trust me, I've been there).

In any event, I would try for a bulkhead aisle, non-center section, on the 346 in PE. Not sure whether those are assignable in advance to non-VS elites - I'll have to look.

Not belittling it at all, if we can't laugh at the funny stuff then there's nothing left. :)

I'll see what I can do about the bulkhead aisle. Is there enough room at the bulkhead for the person at the window to get out?

I don't think the VS flights depart from TBIT, so you may not need to deal with it at all. Plus, the SFO flight leaves pretty early in the day.

How can the power just go off on a perfectly sunny day?

Today's productivity is going to go out the window as soon as my UPS runs out of juice...

EDIT: The smoke detectors started going off. No smoke or fires anywhere that I see so it's probably just something with the electricity. This is going to be a long afternoon.

Pretty much - it's probably a bit more room than the typical domestic F bulkhead seat on a CO 738.

Have a look at -

Me too, except in hotels...openings, rebranding, customer loyalty/satisfaction etc. Sad part is that the degree does not match the expertise. The consulting firm that I applied to hasn't called, and they are the only big game in town for that vertical.

The power was out all morning at our company's HQ outside Philly too.

Speaking of sleep , I have been sleeping all day since I got off my ORD flight .
I believe VS operates out of T2 at LAX.

No sound on my work PC :( . I must get well in time for this weekend. My liver is engaging in its annual high-altitude stress-testing. :D

I'm sorry to hear that. DH picked up a cold over the weekend while we were in Houston or possibly got it on one of our flights.

I'm pretty sure the Significant Otter has been bringing home kid cooties from her stint at the Children's Hospital.
