Maybe not from EWR, but those early PHL flights are great. It's so slow in there that you can get to the gate 20 minutes before. :D

I was amazed I got an BF upgrade on the transcon from EWR to LAX on Saturday on Flight 65 at 3:30pm. BF had been sold out out for two weeks prior to the flight.

CO is making up for the abysmal 1Q upgrade rate that I had, and I'm liking it. :D

I forgot to add it was a NW flight to MSP , and to top it off when i boarded the plane
A woman and her daughter had already moved their seats and asked me if I would take her seat. It was a middle seat and I still took it as I felt like I had no choice .

uhhh... That's all I can say. On an early morning flight I may have been a little rude.

I would have just pointed at my seat and pretended not to speak english. Though the bigger crime maybe not getting the upgrade.

I have this motion-activated pain down the left side of my ribcage (almost directly under my armpit...bout 8" south) with occasional spasms...any guesses on what it is? I didn't go to work yesterday when it started...now it's back but not as bad. My family doctor is closed tomorrow. :mad:

Lucky you. I had great success during the first half of the year, but I think CO is now punishing me. I think I've missed upgrades on 5/6 of my last flights. :(

I had a 5-day EUA for a flight on Friday taken away somehow between last night and today. Yesterday, I received an email that I had been upgraded to on the flight in question. This morning, I logged into the reservation on co.com to change my seat assignment, and co.com showed me in coach with no seat assignment. I called the elite line, who said that it appeared that I had never been upgraded, but further research revealed that the computer downgraded me for some unknown reason about an hour after I had received the EUA. The person on the elite line stated that they were unsure of the why the reservation was downgraded, but offered the explanation that they "were having some computer problems this weekend." In any event, they reinstated the upgrade and the reservation appears normal on co.com.

Consider my s/o was feeling very cold Saturday night/Sunday morning, and mentioned turning on the heater (she was serious), I wasn't detecting sarcasm.

Friday I was on a flight from EWR-IAH then was supposed to be on another one IAH-CLL but missed the connection due to a 2+ hour delay. The delay started with the pilot not being there due to late incoming aircraft then we were held at the gate by ATC then we sat on the tarmac for about an hour waiting on the 55 planes ahead of us to take off. I purchased football tickets for a game in CLL that started Sat. at 11am. The flight CO put me on didnt get into CLL until 11am and I didnt want to be an hour late to the game so I took it upon myself to find an alternative way their on friday night. This led to me having to cancel the IAH-CLL leg of the flight and not earning EQM and RDM.

I am about to write CO a letter and need some advise on how I should ask to get the EQM/RDM along with some type of refund/compensation (I like vouchers) for the delays/missed flights and having to pay for my own transportation (I used my parents extra car and now its in my sisters apartment complex until my parents can go up together to get it) Also, who should I write the letter to?

Geez. I would send your letter to Customer Care and Scott (CO Insider). You should get the EQMs/RDMs but I don't know if they'll give you any kind of compensation depending on the ATC situation.

I'm not sure they'll spot you 18 points ;)
