I just love when that happens. Got word today that POTUS will be stopping by work on Wednesday, that means got be in by 7am for security sit around and do nothing for 4 hrs :rolleyes::rolleyes: politics aside a pain the in !@#% when he comes to town!

So I'm trying to get my first companion upgrade on a ORD-IAH flight in a couple of weeks. My companion has no status.

Any tips?

1. Be sure to split the reservation so you can get your EUA at the proper time.
2. Show up at the airport earlier (if its really important more than 3hrs so you can beat the 3-hour EUA run) and have them add your companion to the upgrade list
3. Watch the PDA site

I got a companion upgrade as a Silver... Out of ORD of all places. ^

I have only gotten companion upgrades to LAS, FLL , and MCO

I just received an invite to tour the new Yankee Stadium on Friday afternoon! ^ :D

I never got to tour the old stadium (outside of being there for games) but I think touring the new stadium before it even opens will make up for that.

Nice , I just saw the new stadium up close on sat , I was at the game and afterwards I walked around to see the new stadium.
The blue letters with " Yankee Stadium " were just put up friday

Chances of them processing the companion prior to the 3-hour cycle are almost zero. One is still automated and the other is done by the agents. Numbers 1 & 3 are correct, and praying may help. But I'd expect it to not happen.

I've actually managed to get a few companion upgrades. The most amazing were a SAN-EWR a few years ago and a EWR-LAX two months ago.

Just get to the airport, have them added to the list and cross your fingers.

I should email someone at the Secret Service and tell them that I know someone if they ever do need a Palin stand-in and Tina Fey isn't available. My ex-director at Tr:rolleyes:picana is a pretty close lookalike too.
