My copy of Travel Professional came in the mail while I was away, and the insert guide was the "Directory of Destination Training". I circled courses for specialization in PHX, HKG, and SAN. ^ Why not keep the travel thing in my back pocket?

Very interesting. TAM to join *A on 10/01. Perhaps I will be getting to S. America on miles this New Year's, after all.

*A forum thread says otherwise due to a faulty translation. People on one side saying membership begins 10/01, people on other side saying process thereof starts that date.

Heh... we'll be flying opposite directions on 11/8-9. I'm looking into booking one for Jan. 13/14 (weekend before BRU DO), but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I just booked one 1/31-2/1. I'm trying to adhere to a "every other week should be at home" rule. So far, it hasn't been working. :eek:

I checked in for my mileage run tomorrow. EWR-IAH-PTY-IAH-EWR. I am glad I am in F on the international segments, but the PTY-IAH boarding pass reads "CHECK IN AT GATE" and does not display a seat assignment, even though I have one. Do you think this SSSS?

My rule is "any weekend not spent in Houston is a good weekend." Thankfully, I have only broken the rule six times this year.

I just came home early and cleaning out a desk drawer find an unused TC that I completly forgot about. Looks like a golfing weekend in FL in the near future!

Nope...just a papers check, I think.

MSY got through Ike unscathed. They may have had a passing thunderstorm, but that was it.
