I called CO, they have no idea why it wont check me in. They told me to arrive at EWR early and use the kiosk to swipe my passport. They claim that will solve everything, But they are concerned that I will never make my 1 hour connection in PTY. I had to explain to them it is the same aircraft than brought me there and i will wait at the gate, but they insist I will never make the connection. I just left it at that since I know better.

Last time I did this, I was checked in but it would not add me to the stand by list for F.

I posted this in Newstand, but on Page Six, Ivana Trump couldn't handle Coach (I'll assume on CO) EWR-PBI and the FA asked a PAX to switch because the biotch was so miserable  http://www.nypost.com/seven/09192008...ain_129743.htm. What FA would ask a PAX to do that and what PAX would do that? PLEASE!

I asked about this earlier and CO 1E said this was a fine idea. Since we will not be getting power for a while, I will definitely be hitting up the PC for a shower.

ok, sorry about my abscense, i was taking my post red-eye nap. :)

sbm12 my flights out of SNA on 11/8 are 322/344/572/414 and on 11/9 1207/347/39/72. Not a single UAX flight! I'm in 1A on all of 'em. :)

Oh, and to answer your question, i just did an ITA search with "sna:: ua ua ua ua+" for the departure and "okc:: ua ua ua ua+" for the arrival and it gave me tons of options.

If I can still find the fare, i'm going to book one for January as well, my requal date isn't until June, so I still have some time. Anyone else have any thing booked out that far?

I'm going to book some of the same flights, though I think I'll go via SEA one of the directions for the few extra miles. I have a $150 voucher that I want to use and they're telling me to hold the reservation online and then call in to complete the process. I don't really want to call in as I don't want to alert them to this, but it seems there is no other way to do it. :(

Considering that most ICC reps don't know their * from a hole in the ground, perhaps it will work out fine? :D

India might tell him to add more legs and make it cheaper. :p

Indeed, that would be doing the needful.

I actually didn't think about that initially, but my second run is through SEA. I figured I'd stick to PDX on the first one and get some new lines in my FM.

hehehe, but now give them credit, they do come in useful when you want to pull a fast one.

Plus, I had mine issued at the airport. Walked up in the 1k line, woman typed away and 10 minutes later I was done with both. She didn't even bat an eye or look at the fare. :D

When I perform my BMI-IAH-SAN-EWR-BMI MR next weekend, I have 3.5 hours in IAH. I have a voucher for entry into the PC from my Chase MC. I want to meet my fiance there. Is there a way to get her past the gate, just to get into the PC?

PDX, SNA and OKC will all be new destinations for me. And the SEA-DEN route is new, too. DEN would've been new but I'll be there on Monday on my way back to HNL. I just booked my positioning flight to SNA. I'm flying CO out there from PHL via IAH on Friday night. I think I'll sleep in the airport but not positive. I'm on the same flights as you are for the outbound (via PDX) and then on the OKC-DEN and SFO-SNA flights you are on, going to SEA in between on Sunday.

Precisely why I routed via PDX on the return.

Did anyone else notice that CO.com has started charging for itinerary receipts older than 7 days? I just saw that this morning.

From the website: "To process receipt requests past seven days from the last travel date, there is a charge of $20 per receipt request per person. Only one passenger will be listed per receipt. Receipt requests will be processed within 10 - 14 days. Your delivery options for receipts are web, e-mail, fax and postal mail. All receipts will be delivered via the same delivery option."

I always keep pretty current with expense reports, but that kind of bites - I guess I'll be printing these off as I book them instead of after the trip.

Arggg.

If you're booking on Continental.com, you should also be getting a receipt e-mailed at the time the ticket is issued (or at least you can opt-in for that).

At least, that appears to have been my grandparents' philosophy :D

I had a grandfather who subscribed to this philosophy. And my father has been known to do it too, although since he has no grandchildren, he tends to do to with me and my siblings, within earshot of my mother.

I think the nicer one (in C) might. I'm almost positive the ghetto F/G club doesn't.

John Wayne will be there to keep you safe from any banditos. :p Get a picture with the statue.

You'll also recognize the bag claim area if you've seen Jerry Maguire recently.

In all seriousness, SNA rules. Hopefully it hasn't changed since my last visit: it was clean, nice, and easily laid out.
