Rumor has it that Amazon is going to announce the Kindle 2 next week. If they fix the issues and make enough improvements to it, I may be sold.

I'd find it hard to believe that the screen is easier on the eyes than paper.

That's PERFECT for this low-carb diet (except for the BBQ sauce). Maybe I'll have to try that (once I can dig the grill out of the snow - we're expecting another 8" here today/tonight/tomorrow).

Morning Box.

Oh crap. I need to venture out in the cold and go rescue my snow blower from the shed just incase we get blowable snow.

I haven't read any complaints regarding the screen. While I have never read an entire book on a similar type of screen, I can say that it is much different on your eyes when compared to a standard LCD type screen.

This storm is coming in from the southwest - so that usually means heavy wet snow for us rather than the light lake-effect stuff we usually get here.

I just wish I understood why everyone seems to believe that our mailbox is where the snowplows should pile snow. Granted, we live in a circle, and it is a little harder to plow, but it truly sucks to have to dig that thing out every day. OH well.. CUN two weeks from today. NO snow there.

Oh crap. I need to venture out in the cold and go rescue my mail from the mailbox. I'm thinking that the rejection letter from the Navy may have arrived by now, but I haven't been to the box to find out.

It is. Or certainly no harder.

My wife reads >1 book per week on average and really has no complaints about the screen. As soon as V2 comes out I'll be buying her one so I can steal her V1 model.

Also, morning Box.

That looks delicious. And my grill is still accessible. :D

Last time I grilled bacon I had a pretty impressive fire inside the grill with flare-ups. I wonder if I can manage to avoid that with this thing.

You need a smoker, not a grill to prevent such flareups. that is the secret to cooking the fatty meats like bacon or even brisket.
The firebox is far eough away not to have flareups even with fat drippings.

Do you have a fireproof camera housing? Two extremes in video production.

Wow. And to think I could have bought this thing when it came out and saved what must be an insane amount of time and money. Oh, wait, Kindle book purchases do not yield CO miles. Never mind.

Yea, on the day of. If space is available, you can confirm. You can always buy 500 milers, but I don't know why anyone would :p Why are you flying UA anyway (if not a Y-UP)?

I think I could do it with the rear burner on and indirect heat cooking the mini-death at the front of the grill and avoid the flare-ups this time. The last time I literally was draping the bacon strips across the grill over a ridiculously hot charcoal fire. That was pretty stupid, though I was pretty hung over.

And, no, no fire-proof housing for the camera. :p

Cheap-O DFW-YYC AC fare. AC cancelled the early am DFW-YYZ on Saturdays, so I rerouted DFW-SFO-YYC on codeshares.
