Instead of buying DVD's, I'm going to buy the seasons on iTunes. Portability is much easier. Fiancee just turned on "Because I Said So". The title of the movie is an allegory for the rest of my life.

Sounds like a good enough reason to spring for a nanny. :D

It's fine. JFK/LGA/EWR are considered one airport.

As far as CO rewards are concerned if you leave from one of these airports and return to a different one it's an open jaw. We ran into this last summer with JFK-SVO ticket the return of which we wanted to change to LED-CDG-EWR. That's a double open jaw as far as CO is concerned.

Sounds like they notice-pled the bare-bones elements, in hopes of doing some fishin' during discovery. :D

pretty much, the CO/Colgan/Pinnacle

1. the parties were negligent
2. negligence was the proximate cause of the accident.

I have to give the P's counsel credit for not pleading IIED and NIED though.

w/r/t the SL issues, you can't really plead anything substantial until you conduct some discovery. No firm is going to hire experts at $1,000-$5,000/hr (yes, some charge $5K/hr) without anything for them to work with. You generally have to have the Original Complaint on file before you can conduct discovery, unless you're taking depos and subpoena duces tecums in anticipation of litigation or to investigate a potential claim. When you know you're going to sue the parties on some grounds regardless, it just makes sense to get the Complaint on file so you can move on to the next step.

My guess is that the Plaintiffs have already placed their preferred experts on retainer, just so they're conflicted out if Defense counsel tries to snag them. Top-tier air-crash disaster experts are few and far between. There's a handful of guys (most are men) and professional groups out there that handle that sort of work.

I wonder how these work, other than making you look like the LeVar Burton on Star Trek.

right there with 1776 to PHL.

Dear C:rolleyes:,

It's okay to say a flight is delayed when it is actually delayed. I don't need to hear "we only announce flights when they are delayed" from the PC agent, after returning from the gate where an announcement was made that our 08:25pm departure's inbound aircraft would not be landing here until 08:05. Perhaps you truly think that 1492 will actually depart by its originally scheduled time. Considering that the aircraft will not land until 15 minutes after scheduled boarding, I have my doubts. Please update all those fancy LCD screens you mounted in the terminal.

Yours in ,

ALCO

That's annoying.

I'll probably stick to keeping BKK on one end and use EWR/JFK as my open jaw (what a waste). Or, I suppose I could try and add a PHL-JFK segment on the front and an EWR-PHL segment on the end. Skipping the EWR-PHL segment would pretty much give me what I want.

Technical Clarification Requested

For the sake of FlightMemory for PB:

If you are on a flight, say from LHR-ERW, and it is diverted to KEF for any reason, is it ok to list LHR-KEF-EWR in FM, or should it be the original routing?

I haven't been diverted yet, but I was just wondering about proper Box etiquette for such an event.
