This and a lot of other events, makes me believe that being anti-catholic is one last acceptable social bias in our society.

I think that the Catholics just aren't as vocal and/or strict about diet as the Jewish community. Remember, Kosher is an entire lifestyle itself, where as even the most strict Catholics (aka, my grandparents) avoid meat on Fridays. Due to that influence of tradition on me, I avoid meat on Fridays in Lent, but I also tend to break it frequently, mostly due to travel in Asia the last few seasons.

As for the concept of more non-meat to Latin America on these days, I think that is a very reasonable expectation. As CO understands the demographics on some other flights (as you mentioned), it should be able to tweak the meal #s for these flights.

I wrote a response to the last comment you made, but I deleted it and won't post it here, as I'm afraid it belongs in OMNI.

yummmmmmmmmmm;

best mac and cheese I ever had was at Le Merigot hotel in Santa Monica. Mac and cheese with lobster. It was on the menu as "Grown up Mac and Cheese". I had it for dinner, and it was so delicious I decided to have it for lunch the next day before I departed LAX-EWR. Imagine my horror and disbeleif when the waiter told me it was only on the dinner menu. I mourned all the way to EWR!!

He did just find me a handcrank blender. No power, no problem.

There's a Mac 'N Cheese Shepard's pie in the Dino BBQ cookbook that's phenomenal.

Someone call me?

I've been dealing with our own plumbing drama. The builder who converted this old warehouse into loft condos several years ago used some Taiwanese made faucets that are next to impossible to find parts for. Recently we decided we should fire up the whirlpool tub in our master bath, which we've never used, only to find out that we had no hot water flow to the tub. Long story short, the problem is not with the supply lines, but the cartridge in the faucet valve. Had this been a major brand faucet, like a Moen, Delta, Peerless, etc., we could walk into nearly any hardware store, pick up the part, and take it home, and be done with it. But no, this part is so obscure nobody even had it in their catalog. I finally located a specialty plumbing place in New York that has the thing, and have to call Monday to find out how much it will cost, and, provided it's not outrageously expensive, place an order.

I'm sure sfogate's issue is probably not as complicated. Most likely it's not the faucet that needs to be replaced, but a it's a lose connection on a supply line.

But how much is a mainstream brand faucet? As long as you go with something more budget than Kohler, they don't tend to be too expensive. Then you wouldn't have to deal with this issue when/if it came up again. Right?

Why am I looking you ask? My grandmother passed away. But, even if I did leave tomorrow, I still wouldn't make it to her funeral on time on Sunday. :(

I am sorry for your loss my friend.

So if one CLE based Plat was mulling over a future trip to HKT, would he only be limited to TPAC flights for the 120K BF rewards? I, eeerrrr this guy, thought that might be the case but the wine has me doubting my instincts.
