I just saved 14 cents on my donut!

In other news, I think I broke the Termalink.

I think that person also works at the EWR A-Parking Lot as a cashier.

I went on a MR for the afternoon to CLT. I parked for about 5 hours I think. When I went to pay, the cashier said, oh you work here? I didn't say anything because I did not understand what she said at first, then she said I put in your employee discount and my parking was about $12 I think. I am not sure what I saved :rolleyes:

There is a Box Mini-Do in the works that is going to be at Big Ed's BBQ in Old Bridge. There are lots of people who post in The Box that have met and have done trips together, but the thing to know is that we all had a first post in this community. When the Mini-Do details come out, hopefully you'll be able to attend.

That sounds like an easy ride for me. I would be in. ^

Can anyone figure a way to get to STL(by noon) from GRK for under $400 on 3/6 with return on 3/7.

no it isn't a mileage run! I'd be insane to pay that for a MR.

Not without driving to DAL and flying WN ($337.70 + gas + parking).

I was going to suggest a rental car & drive all the way to STL.

I would rent a very comfortable car to attempt a 13-hour drive each way.

Enterprise car rentals still use them and they have carbonless multisheet forms too.

Enterprise = :rolleyes:.

Now that I think about it, seems like a lot of Avis locations still use them too. I know my last few Avis cars at BTR have had the contract printed on multi-part carbonless dot matrix forms.

He didn't specify comfortable, practical, or wise. Just the timing & $. I believe my suggestion fits both. ;)

I can't recall ever actually visiting IAH terminal B.

Seriously?

I practically live in that place. I can probably count on both hands the number of trips I've had in the last four years that I haven't encountered IAH B at least once during my trip. Years of travel to places like LBB, BTR, DAL, HSV, MSP (on NW back when they were in B, and late Thursday night returns on COEX), GSP, and MAF will do that to you.

Question for The Box: For all of the complaining that happens about IAH B in this forum, who else here, besides myself, actually remembers what an enormous improvement IAH B is over the old Terminal C COEX operation that it replaced? Or remembers IAH B in the early days of COEX operating out of it, before the renovations, when there were four security checkpoints, and no TerminaLink, and the place really looked like 1969? Not saying it's all that great now, but there was a time, just about a decade ago, when it was a HUGE improvement over the previous regional operations in Terminal C, and CO's IAH-based frequent fliers actually saw it as such.
