There's nothing quite like the quiet cackle of a Boxian poop joke on a crisp March morning.

Also, I am now really wanting to go to Waffle House and the nearest one is in PHX. Thanks so much, colpuck.

First MR run today

Hi Box

Will be leaving shortly for the drive to PHL and my first ever pure MR.

wish me luck! I did get confirmed upgrades on 3/4 flights. Don't hold out much hope for the SEA-IAH 6am tomorrow segment upgrading. :(

Will be viewing FT at the PHL club - I believe CO PC members can use the Delta club room, is that correct? I've never flown out of PHL so it's a new experience for me.

Anyone have any advice for me for SEA tonight? I get in at 11:38 and plan to just hang out at the airport until my 6am departure back to IAH.

The Flu bug that is going around is seriously

Hey, how about a Box or CO mini-DO in the bay area?

I'll have to see when I'm headed out that way again. I'm overdue for a visit.

That's ok, it was pretty subtle.

Why do you need 16K bmi miles, I thought you had already ticketed your
F reward ?

Yes -- but it's quite a hike from the CO gates. Enjoy!

PHL has the new and improved "it might be a CO gate and it might be a UA gate" lottery game.

Yup. All clear in the end (thanks, weather waiver!) but still a scare this morning. Oh, and the BF Concierge in IAH E yesterday was NOT happy with me as I was trying to get the segments dropped.

Yes, you get CRC access as a PC member, but not free WiFi as they reserve that for their own members, not guests. So unless you have a TMo account (or an ATT/Boingo account for the airport wireless) you'll be offline. As for that layover in SEA, the food court area is nice and should still have a couple things open, but otherwise there isn't much. Even the PC closes from midnight to ~5:30am. The past few days have had a bunch of oversells from IAH to SEA and PDX so you might be able to negotiate a VDB, original routing credit and a hotel in IAH (Billiken did that yesterday) and have a more comfortable run without the need to wander SEA for 5 hours in the middle of the night.

A frequent lurker, but not a poster. I'll get his handle when I see him again on the plane.

I l:rolleyes:ve the Waffle House -- particularly the pecan waffles. Sadly, the closest one is about 7:rolleyes: miles away :(

Thanks for the heads up. given that I have: (1) never driven to PHL airport; (2) will be using an offsite valet parking place (Pacifico recommended by OP) and (3) don't know what state the roads will be in given the weather, I am setting off mighty early to allow for "getting lost" time, and so if I arrive at PHL early, I will make use of the Delta lounge.

Still need advice re SEA. got any?

I live within 5mi of a Waffle House. At least Houston is good for something...
