It goes back to last season, IIRC. I think it was Philly that was accused of running up the score (and they were accused of same against Pittsburgh -) and it led to a game-ending bench-clearer that set an NHL record for most penalty minutes issued in a single game. If I'm not mistaken, even the goalies got into it.

Go Devils! :D The last two losses vs. the :rolleyes:lyers are a small hill to overcome...I think the Devils' recent record prior to that was 13-1, and many of those 13 came on :rolleyes:lyers ice.

I'm starting to think that DL is trying to take away the title for "Most 757s to cross the Atlantic" from CO.

JFK-FRA/EDI/AMS/LYS/DUB/MAN are just some of the cities they've moved to 752s from 767s.

Believe me, the Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game thread has had a long history:

An OMNI Game thread, which was launched on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 7:07 in the evening Mountain Daylight Time and abruptly ended Thursday, November 3, 2003 at 3:10 in the afternoon Mountain Standard Time due to software corruption, was 136 pages long, with greater than 4,750 posts. It was possibly the longest thread to have ever existed on FlyerTalk at that time.

The intermediate version of the Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalker To Post? An OMNI Game thread, which was launched on January 10, 2004, only lasted for 4.5 days as it was corrupted again due to its immense popularity. The old Ultimate Bulletin Board software that powered FlyerTalk at that time apparently could not handle the traffic, so the game was suspended until the launch of this thread.

Are you ready to test the all-new FlyerTalk and attempt to push it to its limits?

If so, let’s begin now!

I wonder why they are doing this. They have plenty of 76s available to make these runs. Also, don't forget that they are running a lot of their Africa operations from JFK using 757s with a tech stop.

So, I won't see snow on the ground tomorrow when I transit IAH?

I read somewhere that they are moving some of the 76s to Asia (including PDX-NRT, I believe). Perhaps they feel they're more valuable over there.

Based on that, I'd guess they see the A330s as more valuable elsewhere so they're downgrading routes like PDX-NRT to crappy older 767s and will upgrade other flights to A330s. Interesting.

The rumor also stated that the 76s would have new interiors before being moved over there. The capacity drop would still be a factor though.

This might have come off of a.net, so take it with a grain of salt. :)

The NW A330 front cabin does have quite the reputation for comfort and joy, no? Seems like a no-brainer to put those aircraft that are so equipped on routes that would engender repeat business travel. OTOH, by doing this it's also a tacit admission that their BE product does not hack it for some markets, no?
